A dump and very disappointing
Publié le 3 déc. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis place was such a disappointment! First, it was filthy. Upon cleaning a small water spill with a towel I discovered the floors were black with dirt. Then, cleaning the kitchen counter my cleaning towel came up brown and dirty. It was disgusting! The heater in the bathroom ( which the property management company wasn't aware of) hardly ever worked (in 9F temps at night it would have been nice to have a warm bathroom).The sofa bed mattress was flat and horrifically uncomfortable which caused my friend terribly back pain. It was obvious to me that the owners didn't care about the upkeep of this cabin. The furnishings and rug on the floor were old and worn. The hot tub was not cleaned- ever. It was cloudy when we went in it the 3rd day and some black stuff was floating in it. The only redeeming quality was that this property was walking distance to town. The property management company (Outpost) was quick to respond via text however their actions were seriously lacking. Gratefully we spent much of our time out exploring but it was a shame to come back to such a dump. The pictures definitely didn't reflect its reality. It is smaller than the pictures appear and can't imagine accommodating 4 people as stated in the description. We left a day early because of the discomfort of it all. I would never stay here again or use any property associated with Outpost management company upon my return to Jackson Hole. First impressions are the most important ~ not impressed.

Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay at Alpine Cottage 1 Studio. We are truly sorry to learn that you did not enjoy your time with us and departed early.
We want to reiterate our sincere apologies for the cleaning issues you encountered. This is not in keeping with our standards, and we have reviewed these oversights with our team. While we offered to send a team back, we understand wanting to remain undisturbed on vacation. We also apologize for the confusion and trouble with the bathroom heater. We have not been able to recreate the issue or heard this from other guests, but we will continue to monitor this fixture.
We are disheartened to hear that you felt our customer care was lacking, as the guest experience is of the utmost importance to us. While we wish we had been made aware of the other items you included in your review, we, again, understand wanting to remain unplugged while on vacation.
We want to assure our future guests that the shared hot tub is cleaned 3 times a week, and we are always happy to make an additional visit if needed. In response to the listing, the description includes that this is a 300 sq. ft. studio, but we are very sorry for your disappointment with the home. While the sofa was installed this past spring, we have passed along your feedback to the homeowner for consideration of future improvements.
We are glad to hear that you were able to enjoy exploring Jackson overall.

Great stay!
Publié le 11 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayLoved this stay in Jackson. It was a perfect base for trips to Teton National Park and Yellowstone. It's easily in walking distance of everything in Jackson, without being right in the middle. I felt like I was far enough away to enjoy the cabin feel, while still being close! My husband talked a bit about the bed hurting him, but I didn't notice anything. When we come back, we will definitely consider staying here again!

Little deceiving
Publié le 17 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayCabins are a bit uncomfortable within location to one another. The hot tub is in the middle of all cabins. And the stream view is from the last cabin in the row. We had number 1, and our view was the parking lot.

Cozy and cute

Jackson Hole Cabin

Great Property in the Heart of Jackson

The location is great because it's very close to downtown Jackson (3 min walk), but set off a few side streets away, so you don't get any noise. There's even a peaceful stream and hot tub to use. It was a perfect home base for days in the parks!
