Publié le 31 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayProperty needs a LOT of WORK! Very proorly maintained. In very rough shape. List is too long (nonfunctioning hot tub/fire pit starts the list). View was fantastic. Could not improve mother nature. Way over "priced" for a quasi funcional property. Master suite and sculptures/stuffed trophies/pool table) took half the sg. footage of first floor. Difficult to entertain. Informed during our stay property was under contract(August closing). This explained why property has not been maintained. Good luck to new owner -- deep pockets to get back to "par".

Herds of elk in every direction (winter migration), big horn sheep on the road in/out everyday, and the most gorgeous views of the Tetons. The place is incredibly well stocked and the manager is very responsive. Highly highly recommend.

Elegant western comfort
Publié le 9 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayWow. Hard to describe. Photos and reviews just can’t do it justice. Amazing panoramic views of Tetons. Private, but 15 minutes to Jackson, 25 minutes to airport, and 35 minutes to GT Park. Uniquely elegant, authentic, comfortable, western decor and furnishing. Large home with plenty of space to accommodate our 7 adults.
Everything you need is there. And did I mention magnificent, panaramic views of mountains from large decks and most rooms? I could go on. Have rented many large high end homes but this was by far our favorite. Hated to leave.

Marvelous Experience
Publié le 21 août 2023 sur HomeAwayWhile sitting on the back porch looking out over the beautiful Teton Valley, you would think you are the only person within a 100 miles. The Elk Refuge is your back yard. Yet, an easy walk or jog and you are in Jackson Hole with all of the fun things to do in town.

Fun stay, great views, disappointing back deck

There is nothing to block the summer sun and the deck was so bright and super-heated in the afternoon/evening as to render it totally unusable. Sun was essentially unfiltered and problematic even inside. And it you found some shade outside, flys were numerous and aggressive. Not until 8:20 PM were we able to emerge onto the deck. Also, firepit table was inoperative, another disappointment.
Mouse traps were visible throughout the interior of the house and we found 3 mice in traps while we were there.
