I recently stayed at Embassy Suites Baymeadows and unfortunately, my experience was overshadowed by several issues. Upon entering my room, I noticed moldy and dusty air vents, which raised concerns about cleanliness and air quality. Additionally, there were no tub stoppers, and the mini fridge was not only leaking but also frozen, making it unusable. Room service was off putting as well, they cleaned the room but didn’t replenish the towels they’d taken.
What was particularly frustrating was the lack of responsiveness from the staff. I tried calling for service but received no answer, and there was a significant delay in checking in—over an hour and a half past the scheduled time. The state of the room left much to be desired, with dirty floors, used cups, and trash found under the bed. The pillows were stained, and the carpet felt sticky, which was very off-putting.
The hotel lobby floors were dirty, but the breakfast offered was fantastic. The breakfast area was clean. The staff in the dining area were friendly.
Overall, while the breakfast was the highlight, the numerous cleanliness issues and lack of service significantly impacted my experience. I hope the management addresses these concerns so future guests can enjoy a more comfortable stay.
