Beautiful place on the beach

Has everything one might need on the beach, even an outdoor shower to rinse off. Backyard has beautiful landscaping.
Comfortable 3 bedrooms. Living room is spacious

Inadequate and misleading description of the property

All of the furniture is from the 70s, particularly the beds, pillows (which were only two), and sheets. And, the whole house smelled as if cats lived there. In fact, one cat hung out by the back door and acted as if it lived inside. However, despite the smell of cats, the inside was clean.
Also, friends of the owners are allowed to come and use the outdoor shower by the porch. We were surprised one night by their friends who felt at home walking around the property and were not concerned that we were there.
Very misleading description of the property and would not recommend it or return. Money not well spent and a get away that will not be memorable!!

Considering our usual reviews of mostly 5 stars
we are surprised to read this one.
Yes, its an older beach house and you might hear some movement or steps from the upstairs, but we are only 2 people and typically not loud, as you can see from other reviews, also we state this in the description.
We have a mix of new furniture and older pieces but nothing from the 70's. We update bedding and sheets on a regular basis.
We have just recently upgraded our smaller bedroom with a brand new bed and mattress!
I can only explain the smell of cats with phantom smell, since no cats or other animals have ever! lived inside this unit and we never let our cat inside the downstairs!
Our cat lives upstairs and walks around the yard, which is also mentioned in the description.
We leave the downstairs entirely to our guests including the backyard and patio!
This guests might have seen our grandchildren that day, who ran over from the beach not knowing that we had guests.
Of course it is not entirely impossible that you might see people around the area(not typically in our back yard) since ours is a friendly residential neighborhood.
We always welcome constructive criticism and usually address problems right away. Unfortunately we didn't have the chance to make this guests stay any more pleasant.

Intimate Sweet 16 weekend
Publié le 4 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayWe celebrated my daughter’s sweet 16 birthday weekend at this beautiful beach house. It was perfect! My 3 daughters and birthday girl’s closest friends had an enjoyable, fun weekend. We played games, watched movies, walked to dinner and enjoyed the beach which was steps from the back door. Great memories!

Awesome beach front cottage

Everything was quite comfortable and in working order. Plenty of beach towels and beach items in case anyone forgets. We had a great time.
