Escape the crowd and enjoy this quiet condo tucked beneath Amelia Island Plantation's stunning canopy of heritage oaks! Beautiful ocean views framed by gorgeous palms create the perfect relaxing retreat in this 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom Sea Dunes villa. Conveniently located on the second floor, glimpse the breathtaking views this condo offers immediately as you walk through the front door. Inside, tiled floors will lead you to an updated kitchen with dazzling granite countertops that is fully stocked to meet all your cooking needs.

Looking out from the kitchen into the great room, you will find a wooden dining table with seats for 6 as well as a bar stool area that will seat two. Just beyond, lies the living area where a plush grey sectional is centered around a seagrass rug and entertainment piece housing the flat screen TV. The light beige walls mixed with the coastal blue colors and seaside décor throughout the condo create a tranquil setting ideal for a peaceful getaway. The glass slider will lead you to the balcony where spectacular views of Amelia Island's pristine beaches can be viewed as you sip your morning coffee or enjoy a good read.

The master bedroom sits just off of the great room, and features a king size bed with a sea grass headboard, a flat screen TV, white plantation shutters, a master bath with a shower/tub combo and separate vanity area, and the same amazing views of the Florida coastline.

Back towards the entrance is a second bedroom, which offers two full beds with rustic white headboards, a flat screen TV, and plantation shutters. Adjacent is a second bath with a shower/tub combo.

This soothing escape is directly oceanfront and only steps from the sandy beach. A quick 2 minute stroll will take you to the huge Sea Dunes pool where you can bask in the sun or take a refreshing dip! It's the perfect getaway for a couple, a small family, or senior citizens. While staying in this luxury vacation condo you can visit the Omni Hotel to enjoy a glass of wine, ride bicycles through the plantation's many trails, take a stroll down to the plantation's many shops and restaurants, visit the miniature golf course near the plantation entrance, or rejuvenate at the nearby spa and salon. This condo also includes access to double tennis courts and pickles ball courts just across the street.

We had the best family vacation. The property was very clean, well stocked and had amazing views from the balcony. We loved being able to walk straight on the beach or relax in the pool. The owners were outstanding and took great care of us. Would definitely recommend and can’t wait to book again!!

Great Condo and Sea Dunes is a beautiful area!

Renting through Amelia Island Getaways was a great experience! Great communication from beginning to end! They answered all questions we had. Condo was awesome! Pictures are accurate. Everything in the condo that we needed. Beds slept great! Everything was clean. Loved the keyless entry. Walk to the beach was easy for us older folks. Great areas to walk your dog! We liked having the manned security entrance to the plantation. The route to the condo is a little intimidating at first if you're not familiar with the South end of the Island and the plantation. BUT once you get used to it there's no problem. It's a beautiful area! The grounds at Sea Dunes are beautifully landscaped and very well maintained. The pool area is awesome! Also, I have to add that it's a short drive to Baxter's Restaurant for the best steaks on the Island! Highly recommend! Always our favorite! Was sad to learn that Brett's Waterway Cafe will be gone by the end of the year! Love Brett's! If you rent umbrellas/chairs for the beach BEWARE of Sunsetters Beach Service! The picture shows how one of our umbrella's was left. Did it fall? We're not sure. We rented 2 umbrellas and 3 chairs from Sunsetters for 2 days. The 2nd day this is how we found 1 of the umbrellas. Guy said he would refund our money for the 1 umbrella. He could not get anyone out there to put it back up & we had no way to put it up. We have NOT received a refund & he won't respond to my text. We would definitely stay here again!

Nice View but Needs Work

The view is nice and it's great that they take dogs. But, as soon as we walked into the condo, we realized it needed updating. The entire condo needs painting, the table on the deck is rusted, shower floor is stained, curtain/curtain rod needs to be replaced, burnt out light bulbs in the bathroom. The master bed and pillows are extremely hard. They could really use some different furniture on the deck since that's the best feature of the condo. They have a high table and chairs so that you can see the view over the railing but they're not all that comfortable. There was no facial tissue in the entire condo which seemed weird. We booked through VRBO but the unit is really managed by a rental company. So, your VRBO fee is really a waste of money. Too bad they can't tell you that up front. The rental company's agreement had a lot of "do this or that and you'll be charged" verbiage which was kind of a turnoff.

The place is good, location has ocean view is small but convenient. One thing I dislike was the neighbor leaving notes at the condo door because my dog barking .Even though I could hear other dogs barking in the building which I believe is a pet friendly spot and that was one of the reasons why we stayed here. Management was great calling to make sure everything was good so that’s a plus.

Gorgeous View

The view was absolutely stunning and Amelia Island Get Aways was a pleasure to work with. They made everything so easy and simple. They were so quick to answer any questions we had and were even prompt in getting us battery’s for a remote control. We will definitely use them in the future! Everyone who works there is so kind and considerate. The property had a gorgeous view but the condo does need some small improvements such as paint on the walls and ceiling. Plus, the patio was a little cramped with the furniture and extra items. Overall, again the view was stunning and Amelia Island Get Ways was incredible.

Wonderful location to oceanfront at AIP. Unit is clean and well kept. It’s a tad dated, beds/furniture and A/C took awhile to cool down first night. All in all we had a wonderful stay.

Unit needs updating. Lumpy mattresses, old appliances (frig, washer/dryer); worn out rugs; stained shower curtain; washed out sheets and kitchen towels. Best part of unit was balcony facing the ocean and close proximity to beach.

The view is breathtaking! The condo has everything you can ask for. The cleanliness of the OMNI resort is unbelievable. It is close to town where shops and restaurants are amazing. Very Nice Condo

We enjoyed our entire experience while staying in this condo for two weeks. We had a few minor issues regarding kitchen utensils, a missing bathtub slip map, and a light bulb that were all very quickly corrected after a short text - no questions asked. Having recently renovated our own bathroom, we expected the same updates in the condo - higher vanities, granite tops, and glass shower doors. But all the pictures of the spaces inside and outside the condo are very accurate - so we should not have been disappointed. We would happily recommend this condo to our friends.

Oceanfront Beauty

Beautiful and clean condo unit with incredible ocean view/frontage. Located within a serene and quiet neighborhood lined with stunning trees and foliage. Condo was clean, comfortable, and easily accessible. Parking right in front of stairs leading to unit. Can literally hear the waves crashing from master bedroom. Sunrise from porch was magical. Views of ocean from kitchen, dining area, living room, and master bedroom. Highly recommend!

A very tired building and not clean.

Disappointing. Last there 5 years ago it has really declined and the service is zero. No-one to clean the condo which it needed when we arrived. There used to be a service to have room service in the condo, no longer, we were not advised of the large black pipe bisecting the beach from one end to the other you had to go up and over the huge pipe using man made piles of sand at intervals along the pipe that was how to get to the ocean. Had we been aware of how disappointing our visit was we would not have booked. It used to be 5 star and a fabulous place since Omni took over now it is 3 and that is being generous. Never saw anyone from Omni the entire visit, we left a day early. The service is zero the prices still high no accommodation for the lack of service and the unclean and tired condition of Sea Dunes.

Beautiful ocean view

Enjoyed sunrises on the balcony and our time in this nicely decorated condo. We love Amelia Plantation and here we were right on the beach! When the cable/ internet service went out the property manager came out himself to look into it. When the cable company told him it would be over a week before they could make a service call, he went to the cable company to get what was needed and installed it on his own. Impressive! You will definitely enjoy your time at Sea Dunes!
