Me an my daughter arrived late at night and were given a room, which had the door open and all the drawers were out of dresser and night stands and cushions were turned up on the couch. We told the night attendant that we were not comfortable going into such room. He gave us another room on the same floor. When we entered, the entry way smelled strongly like smoke from some fire (not cigarette smoke) and the AC was blasting and could not be adjusted or turned off. I reported the issues to front desk in the AM. They did nothing and when we returned we had to ask for another room again. That room had a plastic bag over smoke detector and black mold in the shower. It however had comfortable beds and we spent the 2 remaining nights there. They also had a big leak and shut off the water in the middle of my daughter's shower, but that can be understood. Assigning rooms with drawers out and ignoring reports of smoke and broken AC can not. This should be called "Freezing in FL" as our first night the room was at 60 degrees full blast AC. I would not stay there again.

Hotel in middle of remodel but kept disruptions to a minimal. Close to many things - grocery store and restaurant. Although restaurant service was terrible but that wasn't the hotels fault.

The room (309) was super damp and even had a humidity (Damp Rid) hanging bag in the room on a rack. I tried calling front desk and phone didn’t work. I went to front desk and was told someone would be sent over to check, the handyman tried making excuses blaming it on the humidity of Florida to which we responded that we are from Florida and this is not a reason for the room to be this damp. We were then moved to room 309 which was a bit better but eventually it got just as damp and miserable. We did go to front desk and no one was there to which we just spend the night as we were staying here because we were attending the Mayo Clinic and I personally could not handle this situation physically as I was here to rest after my treatment at Mayo. There is no reason for this kind of situation. The bathrooms both were not very clean and in room 309 the tub water wasn’t draining and I had to bend and unplug it which I don’t see why this was the case. My family and I have stayed previously at many Holiday inn locations in Mexico, California and never had this problem and are highly discouraged from ever staying at one of your locations as this stay was miserable for us. Also I would like to point out that the breakfast hours are not convenient 6:30-9:30, we were not able to take advantage of this either on both mornings Overall I was highly dissatisfied and would not recommend staying at any Holiday inn if these are the poor standards
