Great Family Vacation
Publié le 22 août 2023 sur HomeAwayWe had a wonderful time staying at this property! It was a last minute find for us since our previous rental ended up having a leak in the bathroom and ceiling. It was a very easy booking process and there was plenty of space for my family of 4. The property was also very close to the pool, and was very clean. We had a wonderful trip!

Scrumptious Slice of Heaven

It is beautifully nestled within massive oak trees and from the balcony we could see and hear myriad song birds. We appreciated all the extras from our hosts, from the complimentary coffee to laundry and dish supplies. The pool was shady and inviting and the beach was gorgeous! It is a wonderful property; great communication. Highly recommend!

Great vacation stay!
Publié le 6 juin 2023 sur HomeAwayWe found the property great with all amenities for a five night stay. A short walk brought us to the beach. With two young children the four of us found the beach gear to be suitable. We also had quick access to the property’s pool.
The complex is located in a lovely part of Amelia Island.
The only issue we had occurred the day of arrival. Our flight was early and we called the property manager office to see if we could enter early. The checkin time was 4:00PM. I was told they would get back to me but we never got a call back. We would have appreciated communication.

Spring Break stay
Publié le 18 mars 2023 sur HomeAwayThe checkin and communication was great. The advertised description of the condo was true to pictures shown. Cleanliness was great. Beds were comfortable. It was a great size fit for six people. Location to pool and beach were wonderful. Short drive to all the offerings of Amelia island. We loved it! Best rental we have had in our dealings with rental properties. We will definitely try to return and will recommend your property and management association. Thanks for a great stay!

Amelia Getaway
Publié le 8 mars 2023 sur HomeAwayThe location and beach proximity were excellent. Unit was comfortable. There were several issues. The smoke detectors frequently went off even with basic cooking. The oven was filthy and we needed to run the clean cycle. Lack of a grill on the deck of a rental condo was a disappointment. Pool looked lovely but needed to be heated to be of any use. Several of the TV remotes did not work properly in spite of battery replacement.

We really appreciate your honest feedback and are glad you found the location of our oceanside villa in Sailmaker to be "excellent"! Our team was surprised and disappointed to hear about these issues though. Our office communicated with you before, during, and after your 3-week stay through email and text, and we are available over the phone (number provided in written form pre-arrival and as posted in the unit.) We did not receive any notice of these issues and wish we had so our team could try and resolve any issue we could. For example, our housekeeping manager would have remedied the oven issue within the next day and after this feedback was posted our operations team immediately looked at the smoke detectors (no chirping when tested) and the remotes were checked and everything worked fine. As for the grill suggestion, the condo association does not allow grills on decks/balconies as that is considered a fire hazard. It is unfortunate and one of the things the owners looked into right away and they are now advocating for common area grills to be installed on the property. It's important to our award-winning team that our listing is accurate and those items (unheated pool, no grill) should have been clear. Of course, guests are welcome to ask before arrival if unsure on any amenities and our office is happy to help. All in all, we are glad you found our villa to be comfortable. We sincerely hope that if you return in the future that you feel free to contact us for any needs that arise during your visit.
