Disappointing Stay: False Advertising and Poor Conditions
Publié le 8 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayI booked this VRBO with the expectation of a comfortable and clean space for my adult children that were displaced from medical school in Georgia due to Hurricane Helene. Unfortunately, the experience was far from ideal.
Upon arrival, I encountered immediate difficulties. I had not received the necessary code to access the property, despite checking all my emails, including spam. It took over an hour to contact the host and obtain the code.
The property itself was a significant disappointment. The listing advertised a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom unit, but the second "bathroom" was only a half-bathroom. The photos were misleading, as the furniture was outdated and worn, not at all as depicted. The entire place felt poorly maintained, with outdated flooring, poor paint quality, and an overall sense of neglect including a moldy type smell coming from the HVAC system.
Given the circumstances and the state of the property, I felt compelled to leave immediately. I refused to stay in such subpar conditions, especially considering the purpose of the booking.
I am extremely disappointed with my experience and would strongly advise others to avoid this property. The false advertising and poor conditions make it an unacceptable choice for travelers. As a rental property owner, I would never allow my property to be sold in such conditions!

Worst place ever stayed in my life time

2nd floor bathroom door do not have lock
Hall tiles was broken it is very dangerous for kids
No parking available this I was not aware when booking .
Place is totally looks like haunted somewhere beside the main building.
No cleanliness of room every where dust and dirt.
Very small for the amount I paid

5 Star Jacksonville Stay
Publié le 25 mai 2023 sur HomeAwayWe stayed here to see the Zach Bryan concert and was very pleased. The location was perfect, easy check in/check out process and the host was available for any assistance. Overall, great stay and would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the Jacksonville area.

Perfect for a weekend

Hidden gem in Historic District Jacksonville
Publié le 30 janv. 2022 sur HomeAwayStarting with checking in process very simple. All I had to do was walk up to front door and enter code to key box that Host provided. And that was it.
When I entered the 2 room apartment. My first impression was wonderful clean kitchen and living area. Super clean little half bath also on from floor.
Upstairs was 2 good size rooms and a decent size bathroom. This is a great rental to enjoy Historic District in Jacksonville.
Only criticism I have which really isn’t. A few minor touch ups to be done. But some folks may not even notice those minor flaws.
Thank you to the host and look forward to staying here again or even the big beautiful house also on this property.
