Dog Beach!

Property needs a deep clean
Publié le 15 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayProperty is not as expected. Location and access is great but not clean as all, only had one roll of toliet paper per bathroom. Beach chairs broken, blower dryer broken, dishes and pots and pans not clean. Showers were dirty. Plus we were asked to do the laundry and take out trash, not sure why they charge a cleaning fee as their cleaning people are not keeping up this property.

We apologize for the difficulties you encountered during your stay. Had we been made aware of the issues with the blow dryer and chairs, we would have gladly provided replacements. Our housekeepers are excellent, and we received a 5-star review right after your stay and an average of 9.0, so we are uncertain about what went wrong since we were not contacted.
To clarify, we don’t require guests to do laundry, but we do ask that they start a load of towels prior to leaving. Since these homes accommodate many guests, they generate more towels than our housekeepers can wash and dry in the time they have available.
We also ask that you take out the trash, as it is collected for pickup while you are there.
Future guests will be happy to know that we are making seasonal upgrades to enhance their comfort. New flooring and furniture will be added. Stay tuned!

Perfect Getaway

Brian and Julie are on top of everything. Hope I can return for a longer time.

Basic on the beach

The master suite King bed and guest Queen Beds were very comfortable, but the twin beds were rock firm so my youngest tried to sleep on the couch pull out and that was not comfortable either. The place could use some new twin beds, new couches (so worn you almost fall off). Bring your own paper towels and a sink sponge as those items were not in the unit. We arrived in a Chevy Silverado with a shell and a rack on top and fit under the carport cover, but it was tight. The place was clean, easy to check into. The property management company was very responsive to any questions I had prior to making the reservation. There were supposed to be keys in the unit to deadbolt the door and there was not, so I emailed them and they got back to me right away.

Thank you for your feedback. It helps us provide our guests with excellent service. We do mention in our listing that no oversized vehicles will fit in our driveway. If anyone has a specific question about a vehicle, we can help with that. You should have had a sponge and paper towels; that is standard, and we apologize for the oversight. This is the first complaint we have received about the twins or sofabed, and we will have to check them out again to see if anything has changed in their quality. The homeowners are in the process of making seasonal updates and plan to replace some of the furniture. The sofas are absolutely on the list. We have been so busy, though, that it is hard to schedule a delivery. We are sorry your stay did not meet your expectations!
