Disappointing
Publié le 19 sept. 2023 sur HotelsWe booked the hotel because of the breakfast, in morning when we reach the restaurant they said no breakfast for few days!!!! Why they advertise they have breakfast and let people pay for it if u cannot provide it!!! I’m really disappointed!

This was the worst hotel stay ever. We evacuated for hurricane Milton. Manager said we couldn’t have a dog…governor said mandatory evacuation you can bring your pets and not be refused service. Then we see bitbull with a man who looks like he lives at the hotel. Next day we see lots of dogs. States exercise room, no exercise room. Pool was so gross…green and full of algae. Free breakfast was a joke, those that live there on a regular basis get to the table early and pick over everything. Then stand there and cough over the food. On-site restaurant never opened on time. The room was dirty and the furniture was old and falling apart. The smell of marijuana littered the halls. I can’t prove it but I think young children were left in a room alone based on what I heard walking the halls and what I saw. I walked the halls because there was no where to exercise. This is a dirty hotel and should not be advertised on Expedia. I didn’t read reviews, my mistake I just wanted to find a room out of harms way. I didn’t feel safe at this hotel. I didn’t feel safe inside or outside of the hotel. The staff was unprofessional and not friendly. Do not book a room at this hotel!!

Property is undergoing changes and is not in prime operating conditions. I was assigned an already occupied room and offered a different room reservation other than the one I had reserved online, including a room without a/c and without an active phone line.

Our stay here was a disaster from the start. We arrived for a convention that had been planned for 8 months. Check in started at 3, so we arrived at 3:15. There were no clean rooms available, se we, along with around 50 other people had to wait for rooms to be cleaned. Two hours later and some very irate gueats trying to check in, they finally started issuing rooms. However, they didn't start with the order in which people had been waiting, they were calling names randomly from a sheet of paper, so some people were called up to the desk had only been there 15 minutes, bypassing others that had been in line for hours. The hotel is under renovation, so the 4th floor was a complete disaster. People that were issed rooms on that floor immediately came down to cancel their room and left. There were complaints of no air conditioning in the rooms and an extremely foul odor. It was described as cat urine. The second floor was worse. The hotel assured the convention planners the hotel would be fully renovated by the time the convention started, but it was far from it
