The hotel overall was nice. Highlights were the lobby area and location. The room needed updating but the reason it received a 3 was because of the AC in the rooms. We were with a large party and all the rooms were the same. Never was cool enough and extremely humid. I was told the units go back to 73 if it it does not sense movement. 73 is usually very cold to me but it was actually hot. Since we don’t get up at night the unit doesn’t sense movement and it went higher than what I put it on. Waking up in a sweat. When it is more humid inside the room than outside in Florida something is wrong.

I love having the full kitchen in the room. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. The breakfast was nice. The rooms were a little dated (e.g. closet, drawers, sink, toilet). The shower in my room was updated and pleasant.

We had to stay because we had no power after hurricane Helene. The staff were all so nice! Tiffany at the front desk went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. It felt like we were staying with family.
