Welcome to Sea Dunes #1667, an elegant Amelia Island villa will million dollar, 180° ocean views!

This luxurious oceanfront vacation rental is located on the south end of the Omni Resort grounds with direct beach access and stunning sea views. The first thing you’ll note when driving into this gated community are the amazing old white oak trees that drape the roads and bike paths winding through the grounds. You will immediately feel in close touch with nature as you take in this gorgeous Floridian neighborhood. Convenient parking greets you upon arrival where the elevator waits to whisk you up to the fifth floor of the Sea Dunes complex. Take in the breath-taking westward view on the short walk from the elevator to Whispering Palms, which is a corner unit. The kitchen, a bright dining area, and living area welcome you when entering the villa. Large windows with amazing ocean and beach views greet you. One of the two spacious balconies is a unique place where you can enjoy the goregous island weather.

The master bedroom has access to the second oceanfront balcony. Amelia Island is known for its fantastic sunrises, and you can enjoy this right from your king size bed. A guest bedroom with a queen bed also has access to this ocean-facing balcony. All bedrooms enjoy en-suite baths. The third bedroom, located on the west side of the unit, has windows that let you enjoy the wonderful sunsets, not to mention the beauty of the forest tree tops. This unit is conveniently located close to the Amelia Island Omni Resort with a wide variety of dining venues and shops, as well as access to private tennis courts and a pool. After a busy day at the water, stroll through the shops where you will also find a full spa facility. This elegant villa is perfect for family or group gathering. No doubt, your party will plan future returns to this piece of paradise!

All fresh linens and towels are provided for our guests. We also provide a starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels, dish washing soap, dish pods, and laundry detergent. Beach chairs, beach umbrella, and beach towels are also provided for you to use during your stay.

While at this rental, you can enjoy the acclaimed biking/walking trails, spa, shops, nature center, chapel, or restaurants situated in the resort, or you can venture to the charming Historic Downtown of Fernandina Beach (about a 15-minute drive north) and feast on the eclectic dining and varied shopping options. Golf is available at many great courses in the area. Bike and golf cart rentals are also available - please inquire for additional information. Pool and tennis court access are included.

Please be advised, this property does not offer access to the Omni Resort privileges or amenities. Access to the main resort pool, fitness center, shuttle service, and Racquet Park (Drysdale) is restricted to only club members and their guests.

All RVs, trailers and boats are NOT allowed within the security gate. Please inquire for further details.

Pets under 50lbs are welcomed! No aggressive breeds and pet must be crated when guest is away from rental.

We also ask all guests to complete a registration form with Amelia Island Vacations through the secure site of DocuSign.

Fun at the beach

We were a family of 7 and fit comfortably in this 3 bedroom unit. We enjoyed the space and the view....you cannot beat the location. The unit is a little tired in some ways, with extremely weak water pressure in the master bath, not enough towels in another and a refrigerator that did not keep items very cold. We did appreciate the bucket of sand toys in the closet!! Overall, we enjoyed our long weekend here.

Great stay

We have been staying in this condo for about five years and love it. The view is amazing and we love to watch the dolphins as well as the rabbits and turtles we see on the lawn. The property is beautiful and the pool is clean and never crowded. We enjoy everything about Amelia Island!

AMAZING!

Our best Vacation ever!! Loved everything about this condo for our family! Everything was clean, and ready for us when we arrived. Only issue was top bunk was broken in 3rd bedroom, but let the property manager know about that the first night. We did a kayak tour though Amelia Island Kayak tours on one of the days, so much fun!! We will definitely be back!!

We always love Amelia! It was my birthday with 6 of my friends and we had a blast. The bed and bathroom situation was ideal. We loved the large patio off the living room. Great views! Only downside was not knowing the pool was being maintenance and drained. We made the best of it though!

Great Views Not Bang For Your Buck

This condo has spectacular views and a very quick walk to the beach. The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. The beach supplies, towels, and beach toys was a great touch. I was extremely disappointed in a few things. In the pictures and description that we saw before we rented, it was noted that the pool was close. When we arrived, we learned that the advertised pool was closed, and we had to drive to get to a pool. The condo had a musty smell when we came in and if you didn’t run the AC the on high it came back. The couches clearly had pets on them. My wife couldn’t even sit on them without getting itchy from the leftover allergens. There was a good amount of dust on fixtures and items across the condo. You can tell that the condo was updated in certain places (kitchen, patio, coat of paint when compared to other reviews). However, the condo needs a facelift and better upkeep especially the bathroom shower and closet doors, some were not even fully attached. Additionally, the side patio is beautiful but full of sand and no broom for us to clean it up to be able to fully enjoy it. Additionally, for what we paid, it was the most expensive condo we saw on VRBO to accommodate our family, I was really disappointed.

Great December Beach Visit

The condo, furnishings and view were all exceptional. The furnished rooftop terrace is a perfect place to watch the sunrise while drinking that first cup of coffee. Also, it was VERY clean.

A coat of paint and the running of the Children

We rented this property for a week long family Thanksgiving Trip. We regretted doing it as soon as we landed in Jacksonville. Jacqueline with Amelia Island Vacations called 2 hours before check in to tell us" They were painting the patio and we wouldnt have use of it for a day due to weather" Upon arriving in the unit we realized it wasnt a coat of paint. It was a major remodel of the patio. There was metal mesh exposed on all four sides, there was no furniture and the entire end of the unit was covered in plastic so you couldn't see outside.. We asked to be relocated, let out of our reservation or reduce the rent. They did nothing excpt send over their maintenance man Thor, who was the only positive experiece we had with the management company, to take down the plastic rope off half the patio for the week. The Patio was why we rented the unit. Jacqueline and Amelia Island Vacations didn not care. If that wasnt enough, there is a family who lives there year round above this unit that has two small children. They start running around @ 7am every morning. You cannot sleep through it.. We talked to them but every moring like clock work, you can hear loud running everday. The unit is in a great location. My advice would be to locate a unit on the top 6th floor and one not managed by Amelia Island Vacations.

Stunning views

The place is amazing. Two bedrooms have balconies overlooking the ocean. The living room has nice big windows facing the water. It was so relaxing having the ocean literally in your living room. The check-in process with the guard gate was a bit confusing as they couldn’t find our reservation. Ultimately, it was under Dunlop property management not Amelia island vacations. Just FYI in case you experience the same thing. A few of parts are in need of repair - like some of the windows don’t open/close perfectly. But overall, it really didn’t matter as the views/rooms were just outstanding. Would stay again for sure

Perfect location and views!

We absolutely loved our stay at this condo! The views were outstanding and the layout of the condo really took advantage of that. We loved having both an open sky patio and a covered one to enjoy soaking in all of that good ocean air. The walkway to the beach couldn't have been easier and it was a short walk to the outstanding pool complex as well. The condo was comfortably furnished and we didn't want to leave! Already planning another trip back to this vacation oasis!

Poor Communication and Response time with agency

Gate security had NO record of our reservation. We had to provide confirmation and information for them to put us in the system. Given wrong code for pool, twice. No access over the weekend. It was 3 days into the vacation before this was fixed. Beds were uncomfortable. One toilet was broken. Wifi only good in living room and first bedroom; back 2 bedrooms had no wifi. Will not rent under Amelia Island Vacations again.

Amazing location!

This is the third year we have stayed at this condo and it doesn't disapoint. The view is wonderful from the living area as well as two of the bedrooms. The kids love the pool and the landscaping is beautiful. The only issue out of all three years is that this year there was a lock on the thermostat and we felt like it was a bit warm but they did bring us in some box fans.

Everything was perfect about our stay!

My husband and two grown children and I had an amazing stay here at Sea Dunes unit 1667. Cannot thank the owners enough for such a comfortable, cozy, and well equipped home away from home! The property managers were fabulous as well. It’s true that the views are Spectacular. We enjoyed sunrise at the beach and viewing the sunset across the marsh. As beautiful and comfortable as the condo is, the patio balcony sealed the deal! I’ve stayed at Sea Dunes before, actually the unit just above this one 1677, so I knew the views would be amazing in the complex it’s self is in a great location. But I liked this condo even better. The set up is very cozy and we certainly felt at home there. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful property but construction above made it impossible to enjoy.

We were not made aware of the construction above us. We actually checked out early because the jack hammering was so bad. The property itself is wonderful, comfortable and clean. We came to rest after loosing my mother days before. Needed peace and quiet to rest.

Elegant, Clean...perfect getaway as advertised

We stayed with our 3 boys (3, 6 and 7 years old). Two of our boys loved the bunk beds and the other enjoyed his own room...with a view! The views were even better than on the listing. The owners had fairly recently upgraded some of the furniture and it was very nice. The beach was very great and not busy at all...same with the pool. Overall, a very good, quiet, comfortable and relaxing location and condo! We plan to come back and stay again.

Wonderful!

I never write reviews, but let me just say this is one of the nicest places I have stayed in and I am super picky about where I like to stay. This place had plenty of room for 4 adults. It was incredibly clean and well maintained. Not to mention absolutely beautiful inside and the location was just perfect for us. We will continue to book this property ahead of time to make sure it's availability. We all wanted to just move in permanently. Also, this condo was sooo well stocked with things we weren't expecting. Beach umbrellas, chairs, boogie boards, beach towels, etc. We all cook a lot and the kitchen had everything and then some that we needed. Can't say enough good things about this place!

Beautiful and perfect location

We spent a wonderful week here and loved it! The property is as described. Being a pet friendly rental, we always worry about the cleanliness. This was the cleanest place we have stayed at with our dog. There was some unfinished construction on the patio, but I think the property manager was under the impression that this had been completed before our stay. They were excellent to work with. The view was beautiful and we felt like we could social distance while in the plantation and on the beach. We’ve vacationed at the plantation for years and can’t wait to return!
