Save your $$

Property is gorgeous and meticulously manicured. Oceanfront location cannot be beat. Our villa was a disappointment. We were given a villa in Shipwatch. There is indeed a beautiful ocean view from the 2nd floor balcony, but thats the only space you can enjoy the view from. The furnishings are likely original to the condo, old and filthy. We had to strip one of the beds to cover the furniture before sitting on it because it was also stinky. There is zero view from the bedrooms, which are on another floor, down a narrow long flight of stairs. Bedroom furnishings are also very dated, and the carpet hasn’t been cleaned in quite some time (my white socks will never be the same). The condition of the furnishings was misrepresented in my opinion. We didn’t utilize any of the hotel amenities, mostly due to the weather. Had the furnishings been clean and updated this stay would have been much better. Note this is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues due to the stairs to access unit, common areas, beach and bedrooms.

Ceiling fan in room was dirty. The balcony railing and chairs were filthy. Overall, the decor was dated. The chair of the room also had a layer of crime on the foot rest. It’s just not a resort experience in my opinion. The Oceanside restaurant that we reserved was not busy at all, but the staff struggled with Visiting our table and when we wanted to leave, and our drinks had been empty for a good amount of time, we were stuck, just looking around, hoping somebody noticed.

My wife and I came down for valentines and staff was very courteous as always and everything was perfectly in place and the villa was beyond our expectations. Highly recommend getting a massage at the spa and enjoy a drink and the food at the falcons nest. Both are always great when We go down

We highly recommend the Omni Hotel on Amelia Island. First class amenities in terms of the pools, facilities, and dining. Shops and activities are just a 10 minute walk away. The team there is amazing. Especially Anthony Dalfonso, he made our day and turned us into a long term customer!

First night we had no hot water so they moved us to a new villa, 2nd night the heater was not working, they would not bring in small heaters or move us the temp in the villa was 50. My 4 yr old daughter had a medical procedure that was the reason for the trip so I needed to keep her comfortable and warm. Her and I slept on the floor in front of the oven since that was the only way to keep her warm. This place is run down not that nice at all. The 3rd night we were moved again. They stated the room they put us in was an $800 a night room. Not even close. We stayed 3 nights and each night had to move due to some significant problems. We have to come back a couple more times for my daughter’s procedures and will not be staying here. I would not recommend this place at all. Some of the stay was nice.

I was worried about this property because of other reviews but it really exceed our expectations and we can't wait to plan a trip with friends and go back! The kids club was awesome - shout out to Bailey because she was the counselor for a few days with our son, but all of the counselors were great! Heated pool at main building was amazing too. Food and drinks were awesome. Had the best espresso martini from the girls at the bar at the main lobby.
