Both levels have outdoor seating, with a private first-floor patio (two Adirondack chairs) and a second-story balcony (two-person high-top table). The kitchen is fully equipped with all the cooking essentials needed for your stay, including soft-close cabinets and drawers, quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, a Keurig coffee bar, a microwave, an oven, and a full refrigerator and freezer. Downstairs, you’ll find the updated bathroom with provided shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, in addition to a living room featuring a cable smart TV perfect for watching your favorite shows. Dog-friendly for up to two dogs! We have a 50-pound weight limit per dog and all dogs must be approved prior to check-in. The pet fee is $250.

Self check-in via coded smart lock. Guests have access to their unit, a private upstairs balcony and downstairs patio, the property's beach walkover, and the backyard common space.

Neighborhood Overview:

The Turtle Loft is centrally located approximately halfway down the island and is a quick drive to all of the island's best dining and shopping.

Within a mile or two, you can enjoy dining and live music at The Surf or Slider's, or ice cream from several local treat spots.

To the north, you will find Main Beach which features the Salt Life and Sandbar Kitchen restaurants, a playground, and beachside putt putt golf. From there, Amelia Island's downtown historic district is just a short drive down Atlantic Avenue. There you will find plenty of wonderful restaurants, shopping, nightlife and local culture. Fort Clinch State Park is also located along Atlantic Avenue. The park features the 19th century Fort Clinch (still open to the public for tours), a great beach, and lots of beautiful trails for hiking or biking.

The South end of the island boasts several wonderful restaurants, the Ritz and Omni resorts, a picturesque canopy biking trail, and charming local boutiques. We recommend checking out the Ritz spa if you are looking for a relaxing treat!

Getting Around:

Amelia Island is a small area and is easy to navigate! There is free parking available throughout the entire island, making driving very easy to any place you choose to visit.

Although Uber/Lyft are not very reliable on the island (we strongly recommend bringing a car), they are available through the app on your smartphone.

Bike rentals are available at "The Beach Store" located 1 mile north of the Turtle Loft. Riptide Watersports also delivers bikes.

Duke’s Beach House – Unit B

• Only registered guests staying at the property are allowed on the premises - Max. 4 guests
• No parties, weddings or events of any kind
• Pets: Dogs under 30 pounds are allowed with prior approval from management (no dogs that shed allowed) - $250 pet fee

Check In: Check-in is 4:00pm.
We do our best to have your accommodations available by this time. Peak times and holidays are especially difficult, so please understand we are working hard to have your unit available as soon as possible. We cannot make refunds for a delayed check-in time. Please do not arrive to the property early if not approved. Our cleaners are working hard to get it ready for your arrival.

Check-Out: Check-out time is scheduled by 11:00am. Late check-outs must be pre-approved, are not guaranteed, and may incur an extra fee. There is a tight cleaning schedule between guests. If you overstay your check-out time you will incur a fee of $75/hour.

Check-Out Procedure: We ask that you leave the premises in the same general condition as it was found. Please do the following upon check-out:
1) Bag your garbage and recycling and take it to the blue (trash) or yellow (recycling) bins on the side of the house.
2) Leave all sheets and other bedding on its assigned bed. Place dirty towels in a neat pile on the bathroom floors.
3) Wash dirty dishes or place in dishwasher and start the wash cycle. Do not leave dirty dishes in unit.
4) Leave all furniture arranged as originally found.
5) Check all drawers and closets for personal items. Disconnect from any streaming accounts.
6) Clean out all refrigerators and freezers.
7) Lock all windows and doors. CLOSE ALL BLINDS.
8) Set thermostat to a seasonably appropriate temperature and leave ceiling fans running.
9) Lock all doors behind you.

Property inspections will be made after check-out. There will be a charge if the above procedures are not followed or any damage is found.

Furnishings: Basic equipment and furnishings for a comfortable vacation are provided. If you move furniture while occupying the property, you must return furniture to its original position prior to departure. Do not remove furniture (including patio furniture) from the property.

Property Descriptions: Rates, descriptions, bed sizes, inventories, and furnishings are subject to change without notice. Neither the rental agent nor the owner will be obligated to provide replacements or give refunds for failure or absence of any items.

Linens/Towels & Supplies: A limited number of bath, beach, and kitchen towels are provided. With the exception of beach towels (returned to unit upon use), no towels are to be removed from the unit. A starter supply of paper products and soap will be supplied in your unit. You will be responsible for additional supplies during your stay.

Maximum Occupancy: The MAXIMUM number of overnight guests is determined based on the unit size and is listed in the listing details. At any time, no more than the listed maximum number of guests may be in the home unless prior approval is provided. Additional charges may apply.

Age Requirement: The person reserving the unit must be a minimum of 25 years of age and must occupy the property the entire length of the reservation.

Events: Guests are not permitted to hold events at the house. An event is defined as any gathering of people over the maximum occupancy of the unit(s) you are renting. If a guest is found to have held an unauthorized event at the property as defined above, they are subject to immediate eviction with no refund and/or fines for the damage or use of the property for such event.

Decor and Personal Items: Tents, canopies, blow-up pools, or any similar items are not allowed to be setup anywhere on the property or decks. No decor, banners or signs are allowed to be taped or hung anywhere on the property inside or outside. If anything is hung from the walls or windows and there is damage caused from doing so, you will be responsible for the cost of the repairs.

Illegal Substances: No illegal substances are permitted on the property.

Cleaning: If extraordinary cleaning is required, the cost will be charged to the guest card on file. Cleaning fees are charged for all rentals. You are responsible for the cleaning of your unit during your stay and for leaving the unit in good condition at checkout. Additional cleaning is $75 per hour.

Parking: You are allowed to park in the designated parking areas on the property. The number of cars is dependent on the property and is in the listing details. DO NOT PARK ON ANY LANDSCAPING or grass. You will be charged to repair any landscape or sprinkler damage if you park off the driveway. Park at your own risk. Owner is not responsible for cars on the property.

The property was very clean, wonderful beach front view, and the layout was super efficient. A couple of drawbacks: The staircase could be difficult if not paying attention (70+ folks). The humidifier in the bedroom closet made noises that kept my husband from sleeping the first night...didn't do this for the remaining three. The cookware was just awful. We make breakfast and the frying pans were garbage. Also, the bathroom was very small but not a deal breaker. We're average height. Might be a problem for taller people.

We had a lovely time staying at this condo on Amelia Island. The unit was very clean, with great access to everything the island has to offer. Our plans were almost derailed by Hurricane Milton (highly recommend purchasing travel insurance!), but we were fortunate that the weather stayed on our side. The layout of the condo is ideal for couples or small families. However, if you have mobility issues, take note that the bathroom at the front of the condo has small steps that might be inconvenient. The only downside to our stay was an unpleasant encounter with a large group that rented the unit directly above us. Their deck was right above our bedroom, and they partied loudly, moving furniture and shouting as if they were at an MTV Beach Bash circa 1998. Unfortunately, they were still making noise at 5:30 AM, waking both us and our neighbors, which ruined our last day. Overall, the condo itself was very nice, but we likely won’t return due to the disruption caused by the party-goers

Great mini vacation at the Turtle Loft
This property was just as beautiful as it looked in the pictures. It was clean and very quaint. It had a private dock that lead to the beach which had an awesome sunrise and sunset view. I would definitely stay here again. The parking was a little tight, but manageable. The host answered any questions in a timely manner.

Turtle Loft was awesome! Perfect place for me and the wife. Essentially a private beach. Great location on the island, close access to restaurants and grocery. The bath room is small but was no issue. One suggestion would be to change out the swivel club chair with a loveseat. Or maybe change the coffee table table to a cushioned top coffee table. Overall the place was perfect and identical to the pics. Enjoyed our stay and would use it again.

My hubby and I stayed here for a quick anniversary trip. We didn’t want to leave! The space is perfect for a couple and the beach views were awesome! We also loved how close we were to the beach- just steps away. The property was well maintained, comfortable, and modern, with both a front patio and a balcony where you can sit and enjoy the salty air and watch the waves. The bed is super comfortable too. The owner was just a text away and very accessible. We had a wonderful trip and plan to stay here again!
