This home for six is only two miles from Jacó's downtown, with the soft sands of the beach just steps from your door. There's also a shared pool with a rock waterfall!

Tasteful artwork and plenty of natural light welcome you in. This home's bright atmosphere is further boosted by the soft red and yellow colors of the furnishings and walls.

The living room of this upper-level condo provides easy access to the views of the balcony. When you're done breathing in the ocean air, head back inside to the comfortable sectional sofa with a wicker frame. From streaming music on the WiFi to watching movies on the flatscreen cable TV with a DVD player, you're sure to find something fun to do!

Eat at the breakfast bar seating for three indoors, or dine outdoors on the balcony. Wherever you eat, the kitchen is ready to meet your needs, with stainless steel appliances and a dishwasher.

Don’t do it. This property is managed by Vacasa they are the worst. We got there and security didn’t have our reservation and had to call to get it. We get our bags up to the 4th floor to find the door codes don’t work at all. We call customer support on the phone forever. He can’t fix it has to call a local company to come out. We report the WiFi password doesn’t work either. We finally get in. But they still haven’t resolved WiFi. They now say it’s too late. Just don’t unless you want to spend half your vacation being annoyed. Just not worth it.

Beautiful condo— BUT AIR CONDIONER IN MAIN ROOM WAS BROKEN—- the WHOLE TIME !!! Beach was a beautiful view from the condo patio, but when you went to it, it was covered with rocks and gravel!!! Not fun !!! Also HUGE PILES OF DEAD WOOD ON THE BEACH !!! So the ad was accurate regarding the APPEARANCE of the condo, BUT NOT THE FUNCTION OF THE CONDO OR THE FUN AT THE BEACH !!!! BIG FISAPPOINTMENT!!

Amazing location and amenities
We're a family of three (child was almost 2) embarking on our first trip post-pandemic. We'd been to Costa Rica before, but not the Jaco area. We were looking for something close to San Jose (not wanting to get off a long plane trip and drive 4 hrs). We also wanted something beachfront with a pool. Honestly, La Paloma Blanca could not have been more perfect. The rooms were a good size, very clean, and we loved the showers. We were at the end of the building so didn't worry as much about disturbing other people the first night. Our car was secured, but easy to access- many thanks to the security folks who were on it every time we needed to get the car! Vacasa was extremely prompt answering my questions beforehand and even checked in on us during our stay. All interactions were very professional and friendly! The grounds were immaculate and the pools were really nice. Our child turned out to prefer the beach more, and it was so easy to just walk out for an hour or so- not worry about parking or hoards of people. We loved the beach, good waves, but shallow for a good bit so we could play in the water. The water was warm!! The sand is dark but washes off easily. It was a nice long beach, and very quiet. Beautiful sunsets!!! There were several restaurants close by that were tasty and convenient. We liked the location a bit outside of Jaco, but it was a quick 5 min drive or 20 min walk if we wanted to go there. From our location we went to Manuel Antonio easily, drove up to Bijugal waterfall (spelling), and went a few other beaches. Other beaches had more clear water, but the shore break made it not as fun for a small child, so we preferred "our" beach. There seemed like so many activities to do in the area so I definitely see us coming back! I read probably thousands of reviews of where to stay and I was so pleased with our choice.

Perfect location
Safe, quiet complex with great ocean views and quick, easy access to the beach. The unit has a large king bed, and two twin beds, with a pull out couch. The beds were comfortable, but the pull out couch was so/so. Don’t count on it for a good night sleep. The rooms all had blackout curtains. Two bathrooms with showers, one in the master and one in the main area. The complex is awesome. It’s so clean and the pools are exceptional. The staff is friendly. You will have to park across the small street if you have a rental (only owners can park in the gates. The parking is gated and locked and your car is safe there. You can watch the surf from your balcony, and it’s about a two minute walk to the beach. Plenty of food options close, but you’ll have ti drive into the main Jaco street for the best options. Still, only a few minute drive. Vacasa is a professional management company - they have exceptional communication, quick response, and work hard to make your experience great.

Check-in did not go smoothly, because the login code did not work or was not sent in time. I've had this problem with VACASA before. You can't expect all customers to carry a smartphone. Also, the internet connection was slow. Everything else was OK.

Nice Place bad communication
The unit was nice and the grounds were beautiful. The people at the place were very nice. Our problem was with the communication with the property management. When we arrived, we had a little problem finding the place. We called Vacasa and they told us to contact Adriana. We had tried to contact here previously Via email and phone but had gotten no response. We again tried to contact her when we were in Jaco and no response. We eventually found the unit and our stay was fine. Then when we were preparing to leave, we tried again with no response. A few days later Adriana finally contacted us and told us she had been off the schedule and wondered what our problem was. She said that I should have contact Vacasa. I told her we had and they told us to contact you. I said if you were off then maybe they should have had someone else as our contact. She said something to the effect of " why, what was your emergency". We live in Costa Rica and are very experienced in traveling the country now, but I was thinking that if this was our first time in CR or if another traveler who wasn't as experienced had had this interaction, it probably would have been an "emergency" to them.

Beautiful Beach Area
Paloma Blanca is locates in a beautiful, quiet setting away from the more crowded areas of town. The unit was perfect, has a great ocean view and the sound of waves crashing. The outdoor dining area was a great place to spend the evening hours. Having a full kitchen is very helpful - eliminating the need to eat out every meal. If you want to go to town, it is a relatively short beach walk during the day and a US $2 taxI ride at night. will definitely return!

This was an incredibly relaxing and fun place to stay. The condo had everything you could ask for with a great view of the ocean. The pool and grounds were beautiful with a great staff. The beach was steps away. We would definitely come back here again!
