Great hotel. Far from old city but great park with water/light show in the evening at walking distance. Very good quality for the price

Hotel Orchid is a beautiful hotel, the service was excellent, the rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff most accommodating. I traveled alone and the security is good. The food well presented and everything high quality. Make sure to have the breakfast! This was my first time in Jaipur and I plan to come again. I will be staying at Hotel Orchid when I do. Enjoy this wonderful place as much as I have.

The bed was in a pathetic condition, the mattress was stained with human secretions and was sagging from center. Mattress was covered with mattress cover, couldn’t sleep the whole night. Complaint was reported to the duty manager Bhavuk and he had no answer to the complaint, he assured me of connecting me to the general manager but till now no news and to my utter surprise, when I called, he did not pick up the call and never called me back. Very poor response on the management’s part. Not at all value for money. This was my first stay with Royal Orchid, Jaipur and probably the last. We are on a family vacation to India but started on a very bad note.

Ein Anruf der Rezeption um 1 Uhr morgens (!), wir sollten bitte die Tür öffnen!? Es war keiner vor der Türe...an der Rezeption wusste man davon am nächsten Tag nichts. Der 2te fehlende Bademantel wurde schnell aufs Zimmer gebracht...aber am nächsten Tag wieder entfernt... Am 3ten Tag gab es nur noch Duschhandtücher, keine kleinen sog. Gästehandtücher. Die Indien, für Europäer wichtigen, verschlossenen Wasserflaschen gab es nicht (das habe ich noch nie erlebt in Indien ä, und das war mein ca. 20ter Besuch), sondern nur die vom Hotel abgefüllten Flaschen. Wir haben die mitgebrachten genutzt und für den Tee das vom Hotel abgefüllte abgekocht. Eine Reihe von Kleinigkeiten, die aber bei dem Preis v.a. in Indien (anderswo auch) nicht akzeptabel sind. Das Buffet zum Frühstück und Abendessen war gut und angemessen.
