Hotel is dated but clean and staff are friendly and approachable. Unfortunately there are lots of mosquitoes especially at the lobby area and guest receptions area. These are in the hotel and not outside. Best to eliminate this at its their first impressions when we come in and where guests sit around at the lounge cafe enjoying pastries and coffee. Can't stay long with all the mosquitoes.

I requested a non-smoking room but the front desk staff insisted that I requested a smoking room so she gave me a smoking room. I showed her from my reservation that I requested non-smoking room but she was unable to give me a non-smoking room. She gave me a “flexible” room where smoking is optional (basically a smoking room then??!!) and the room smelled cigarette. Pool was very nice, breakfast was good, there are a lot of attractions nearby.

It was nice some rules they told me about the pool were not listed in the pool rules so I was confused I respectfully accept there request but felt uneasy

Lobby and restaurant are very nice but the rooms are a solid 3 stars-not more than that. Updates are needed all around!

The Discovery Ancol is quiet and clean but shows visible signs of being a dated hotel. The staff were quite attentive and professional.

The best hotel in Ancol area.
Publié le 17 févr. 2020 sur HotelsThe hotel quality is beyond my expectation since I stayed here when the hotel name was Raddin Hotel about 20 yrs ago. It's a much much better hotel now. I need a family room but I mistakenly booked deluxe room. I asked the receptionist whether I can upgrade to family room with additional price but family room was fully booked. Then the very kind receptionist gave me a surprise: she upgraded my room to suite room with no additional charges! The room was huge with 2 toiletes, 1 bathtub+1 shower, 2 tvs, 1 living room, 2 queen size comfortable spring bed, and a very large window. I will definitely stay again in this hotel whenever I visit Ancol
