Good hotel but pool and gym far too small

I arrived early morning at the hotel and had for free my room far before the check-in time which was very much appreciated after a long trip to Jakarta. Nice room and view - big enoug and quite. Problem of the hotel is about its equipments: the pool is very very small and the gym is so tiny that there is only one running Equipment - for such a large hotel that's clearly not enough. Restaurant pretty OK, I had diner couple of times and the food & service was very good.

The staff at the Mercure were very kind and super helpful. The breakfast was a great range and the coffee was good. The pool was not in action but the area up near the pool was a great spot to sit and watch the clouds roll through. The downside was that there was a lot of mold in the bathroom shower area, and the bathroom floors around the toilet and general area didn't seem as clean as they could be. Also, the shower was not pleasant to use - one shower head kept facing the wall and I had to hold it and the rain shower spurted everywhere.

I think the hotel is dated needs to revamp.

Hotel is OK a bit run down. Found stains on the chair, and the shower tray also looks stain and worn down. Asked for extra mineral water, they said it's chargeable and I said OK, but it never came up. Bed is a bit hard as well. I guess you get what you pay for.
