Déçus par l'état de la chambre master (porte fenêtre et volet non utilisable), déçus par la chambre grand lit (volet roulant non utilisable).
Difficile d'aller à pied faire les courses au village..un peu loin pour revenir avec des sacs..chemin non éclairé la nuit. Il manque aussi un miroir dans le champs en face pour sortir de la villa, nous avons faillit avoir un accident avec un véhicule riverain roulant à viva allure.

Chère Sylvie, merci pour votre évaluation. En fin de saison estivale, certains défauts peuvent parfois se manifester. Mais c'est dommage que vous n'ayez pas simplement prévenu le gardien. Elle aurait immédiatement envoyé quelqu'un pour résoudre les choses (c'est aussi arrivé maintenant). La distance au village - 1,1 km - est indiquée dans l'annonce. Avec des sacs lourds et en plein soleil, cela peut demander un certain effort, c'est vrai. Mais la possibilité de se rendre à pied de la maison au village en 10 à 15 minutes est très appréciée de nos hôtes : pas besoin de voiture pour manger ou boire quelque chose. Vous comprendrez que nous n'avons aucune influence sur le tracé des rues. J'ajouterai à l'annonce qu'il est recommandé d'apporter une lampe de poche lors des promenades nocturnes.

Agréable séjour dans cette très jolie villa

La personne joignable sur place est très disponible et réactive.
Nous recommandons vivement cette maison pour des vacances en famille.

Magnifique !

Publié le 1 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a great family holiday in Casa Gusta however the listing and some of the photographs were quite misleading. Our daughter and family were staying in the advertised self contained basement apartment but on arrival we discovered that the kitchen in this area had been totally removed leaving an empty room. This meant they could not cater independently for their small children. The children were also really looking forward to playing on the trampoline which also sadly had been removed from the garden.
In the photographs several rooms are shown with televisions but in fact there is now only one in the main lounge.
The rear BBQ area has been redesigned/removed and looks totally different now.
The positive aspects are that there is now an additional large sunshade sail over the dining area near the pool which was very welcome. The maintenance team were first rate and dealt with any issues promptly and were really friendly and Toni was very responsive to any messages we sent him. The owner responded quickly to our queries, which we appreciated, and said the photos etc would be updated
Despite the disappointments mentioned above we all had a fantastic time at the villa, which is really lovely and spacious. The large pool is super.
If you are looking for an authentic Spanish town Jalon definitely fits the bill. There are two excellent large supermarkets very near and 5 km away at Ondara there is a cluster of hyper markets which was great for stocking up on arrival.

Dear Judy, thanks for booking with us. It was a pleasure having you. Points about accuracy of the advertisement taken - meanwhile we modified where needed and have put on new photos. Sorry to read about the disappointment with the kitchen in the underbuild having been removed ... we did so in spring 2024 ... for the simple reason that it was never used. Should have updated the description accordingly ! We appreciate your open and honest feedback and glad to read that you had a good time !

Villa with large pool
Publié le 6 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThe pool is great. Kitchen had lots of equipment. Beds comfortable. Village location is great. We were lucky to be there over the village Fiesta weekend. The Manager responded very quickly to WhatsApp messages sent when there were a couple of issues. Plenty of shaded areas to escape the sun and outdoor eating areas, particularly the patio off the lounge behind the garage.
Couple of minus points, the basement advertised as having a private kitchen with photos to back this up. Unfortunately, the kitchen was just a room with a fridge in it. Not what we needed for the little family with baby who were staying in there and thought they would have access to kettle etc during the night. Also the games room was quite scruffy, along with some of the outdoor furniture and equipment (no BBQ) but plug in grill supplied.
Overall a lovely villa in a lovely village location with great eating places.

Thanks Hilary. You are right : we have recently taken out the kitchen equipment from the basement living area ... it simply was never used. So we changed it to an additional storage space ... We did this early 2024, tenants are usually happy with it ... but indeed we forgot to change the information in the advertisement. We will do so now. Apology for inconvenience caused.

Amazing for families
Publié le 14 août 2022 sur HomeAwayWe stated at Casa Gusta with our extended family including 3 babies, 2 toddlers and a teenager. The house had everything we needed plus more!
The pool is literally the highlight, it's huge and very deep at one end. The toddlers who were not confident swimmer's at the start of the holliday were swimming, unaided by the end.
The kitchen facilities are great and the living space is also very large. There are several different. Alfresco dining areas and the pool side seating is perfect!
The location is a short walk to the town of Jalon which is perfectly Spanish. We were lucky enough to be staying during the fiestas which really made our holliday special.
Dirk was a real gentleman from the beginning, providing all the information well ahead of time. Roos, the housekeeper, is a wonderful lady, very friendly and very accommodating.
Overall we would defiantly recommend to other friends with families and will definitely be returning.
