Nice location and space but short on kitchen equipment.

There were no large plates to put things on, we had a group of 8 people with just 8 plates and bowls, no extras to use for other things, no extra cups and very limited glasses. Only one cookie sheet and mixing bowls and no storage containers. We had just come from a different place we rented in Golden which was much better equipped.

Sibling vacation in Jasper
Publié le 23 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe had a delightful stay at the Overlander chalet. There were four siblings and their significant others (all retired).
The chalet (#140) had plenty of room, and the accommodations allowed us to enjoy the surroundings. Our stay was only three nights, but the time was enjoyable. The only downside was the longer drive to places like Maligne Lake, but then again, every mile is a chance to take in some beautiful scenery.
We also had dinner at the Stone Peak restaurant. The food and service was very friendly and fine. One notable thing was that we ordered two different cabernets, and the sommelier offered us two glasses so we could taste the two side by side, which was fun. Most of our party ordered the duck, and it was enjoyed by all.

Quiet cabin 50min east of Jasper town centre

Very nice property
Publié le 17 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayStayed for 2 nights at this property and was pleased with the cleanliness, spaciousness and ease of check in and communication. Was greeted warmly and given helpful information about local places we could eat as our check in was late. House had all that we needed, was very clean, and very spacious. No issues with anything not working properly or not clean. Would recommend!
