Great place to stay but beware: BUGS
Publié le 9 janv. 2025 sur HomeAwayGreat place: good layout of the house, it’s quite charming and in a really lovely neighborhood. Check-in was as described and very easy. But the master bedroom has some kind of insect infestation with biting bugs that left large, quarter-size welts/boils. Unfortunately, we won’t be staying here again.

We are sorry to hear about your experience. As a cabin in the North Georgia mountains there are bugs that can get in. We do regular pest control and will be sure to get them back out to spray and see what this could be.

Wonderful cabin in the mountains!

Weekend Getaway
Publié le 30 mai 2023 sur HomeAwayThis is a nice cabin for a getaway. Spacious enough, but walls and doors aren’t very soundproof. There aren’t great views of the mountains, if that’s what’s wanted, but it’s a peaceful area, where the deer frequently came, during our stay. I recommend taking a short trip, to nearby Amicalola State Park, where there are beautiful views of mountain and waterfall. I would stay there again.

Great cabin!
Publié le 7 janv. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe loved our stay. The weather wasn't too good and the roads were tricky in dense fog. If there is anything to gripe about it's the room in driveway to turn around with full size pick up. Not a show stopper. You will love this place! Very quiet and peaceful. My mother is picky about places and she loved it. Even commented how clean it was. We'll be back.
