Poor communication /poorly maintained railroad tie steps

We received a last minute email from the host as we were traveling there. When we got there I complained to the host about the number of steps ( my wife is disabled and we are in our 70’s) They responded that we should have read the add closer. The next morning we were told to leave because we hadn’t signed the dog policy in the late email. I responded that I didn’t have a dog crate with me and so we left by check out time. Bad communication led to bad feelings all around. Also very

This little house is just perfect for a quiet little getaway. We sure did enjoy our time there!

Big Canoe Getaway

It was exactly as listed. It was very peaceful and serene. Big Canoe is a huge property but this place was literally 3 minutes from the Beach Club. It was very centrally located. Hosts were great with communication and directions. Overall a great experience.

“We’re sleeping in the trees!”

We had a lovely stay here with two young kids (4 and 2) and loved being so close to the playground and park area. I’m glad I brought groceries as others mentioned, and the house was stocked with basics for cooking and prep. The bedrooms are so magical—you really feel like you’re part of the wooded treetops! Hosts were great and available to help with tricky directions upon arrival during a heavy storm. House was very clean. Excellent place and would love to return!

Cute, quiet, & great lighting.

Loved this ‘geometric treehouse’ surrounded by trees. The combination of shade and windows made for a very peaceful retreat in North GA. The host was also very helpful and friendly. Kitchen had everything you’d typically need and little more. Would stay here again.

We had a great time here! The cabin is really pretty, was clean, & well taken care of. It was easy to communicate with Laura & David! We enjoyed eating at the clubhouse restaurant & took hikes to the lower & upper falls. Definitely recommend this place! Thank you, Laura & David!
