Lookout Lodge Review

It is a bit further out than expected and what the listing provided. Everything you needed for accommodations was there. However, it quite uncomfortable for sleeping and with lack of windows and curtains for the afternoon sun, it was extremely hot.

Beautiful Stay near Fairplay
Publié le 24 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis property is so lovely. Lots of extra convenient items were included, like coffee, spices and some toiletries. They also included games and puzzles. There was a badger living right off that back deck that we saw around dusk both evenings we stayed. We also saw quite a few deer. I also recommend making a stop at the ghost town in Fairplay. The photos do not do the view justice. Overall, wonderful stay and a beautiful property.

You will not regret this VRBO
Publié le 21 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayWe have not stayed at any vacation rental that had the views that this home had! We did not want to leave. You could see"14ers" from the living room couch and the Poncha Pass range from the dining room. Unbelievable!!! And that isn't even including the night sky! It looked like you could reach the Big Dipper from the deck. If you looked straight up, there was the Milky Way. Just sit on the deck with a cup of Hot Chocolate (also included) at 3am and be amazed!!
The home had everything you would need or want. From the well equipped kitchen (crock pot, pots and pans galore, Keurig and Cuisinart coffee pot, toaster and very nice serving dishes, to name a few.) The linens were plush and new and the dishes and glasses were spotless. We had wonderful weather - 40's at night and 70's during the day. If the weather is rainy, there is a table full of games in the basement, along with air hockey and a putting green!! We can't say enough great things about this home.
