There was nothing "not to like" about the property. The entire experience was just great. The owners even recognized us at the grocery store in town and said hi. The over all area is an odd mix of junk properties and very neat properties but at no time did I feel unsafe.

Burn Benefit
Publié le 26 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe needed a place to stay close to Jefferson for the Burn Benefit, and we found Mary's. This is a very nice place to stay for a weekend, it's quiet, close enough to the lake, and Jefferson. The sweets she left on the table for our arrival was delicious, she is a great baker and a wonderful hostess, and so is her husband. Great guy!

Enjoyed our stay
Publié le 23 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayOwners are onsite and very nice. Some properties in the general area were rather trashy but this property was neat and our cabin was clean. The entire property is fenced and well lit and we felt safe and our boat was secure. It is only a short drive to boat ramps and parks. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again in the future.

Great place to stay!
Publié le 8 août 2023 sur HomeAwayMy daughter and I came to Texas to help my older sister move. We stayed at this lovely cabin during our trip. It was wonderful to be able to rest and relax after a long day of working. Our hosts were great! They answered any questions we had and made sure we had power during the series of storms that rolled through. Mary also left us a few treats - cookies and cake - which were delicious!!! We would highly recommend this cabin to others who are looking to stay in the area.

The place was not private at all it's literally in her backyard. Also kids got bit up by something in the house

A good place to stay
Publié le 28 mai 2023 sur HomeAwayThe owner is awesome. She made everything easy and was available if anything arose (it didn't). She even brought us brownies after we got there. It was a perfect place to use as home base for our fishing trip.

Always enjoy the hospitality that is shown to us. The cleanliness of the living area, the security and safety of the parking area and the overall feeling of coming home each time we visit makes this a place that we enjoy staying.
