Publié le 2 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayMy family and I rented Charlottes chateau for the week. It was a fabulous stay and I can't say that there was one thing that I would change. This home was beautiful inside, the upstairs bedroom had a kitchen and a small living room that my husband and I enjoyed very much while my kids and grandkids stayed downstairs,the bedrooms were all a decent size and the beds were all very comfortable, plenty of room for the 10 of us,The kitchen is very large and is fully equipped for any type of cooking.beach access was across the street,a short walk,the pool was very clean. We would definitely stay here again and looking forward to our next family vacation.

Publié le 31 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayPerfect for our family of mostly adult children plus a three year old grandchild. The kitchen is fabulous! We all love to cook and we had plenty of space at the island to make homemade egg rolls one night. Loved having the extra fridge in the upstairs kitchen and out by the pool. The pool was a huge plus! Host was very responsive to questions.

Birthday weekend
Publié le 14 nov. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe loved this place. There is a full size living area upstairs. King size bed, bunk bed, very nice bathroom, living room with TV, and a full size kitchen. There is one baby gate for the stairs and one high chair as well. If you have small children or people that dont know how to swim. Please be aware that there isn't any safety around the swimming pool. The main floor. Has a very nice layout. I just wished it had a half bathroom somewhere else in the main house. There is only 2 bathroom in the main house. One is in the master bedroom. And the other is for the three other bedrooms to share. There is a few things that needed fixing in this house. This house has alot of doors. I would love to see a few things change to this house. But overall its a very nice house. We would definitely stay again. We stay the weekend of 11-10-2023 until 11-12-2023. It did cost alot of money for this house. But we was all together. And it was like having two houses in one.

Disappointed.
Publié le 17 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayPros: the number of rooms, layout and location of the house is great. The property manager was on point very responsive with anything they could do to address our complaints. The beds/sheets were clean and comfortable.
Cons: the house has a musty/moldy smell that was very unpleasant and borderline unbearable. The property manager explained that it might be because of a recent storm and I don’t remember other reviews mentioning it so this might be the case. For us, however, it was enough to where we didn’t want to spend time at the house. When we opened the dishwasher a horrible sewer smell came out and we came across roaches and spiders as well. Again, maybe due to storm? It was just very disappointing due to the amount of $$ we were paying for our stay. The pool and surrounding areas were also very dirty upon our arrival. With that said, the property manager addressed our complaint immediately and had someone come clean it up. The pool floor still had a lot of debris so we opted not to use it. Overall, we were a group of 6 girlfriends that hadn’t seen each other in 7 years so we chose to not let all this ruin our weekend - but it was pretty bad.

Loved Charlottes Chateau!!

Comfortable accommodations - did I mention the Pool - so awesome spent many hours with our group swimming splashing and making the best memories- lots to do and see in the area. Beach is super close. Highly recommend this place and Jess the host was very attentive.
