The Warren Family Annual Beach Vacation
Posted Jun. 23, 2024 on HomeAwayAs Locals on The Treasure Coast, this was the second year we stayed at The Chateau Beach House! It is a fabulous property and we love staying at our beach. Al the property manager was so helpful last year and again this year. We loved this house very well stocked inside and out and love the updates to boardwalk and lights. The owners should transition to paper plates instead of styrofoam. I would add some pavers from driveway to boardwalk. Every detail from the house keepers to treats noticed and appreciated. Sand table perfect addition too! We had our oldest sone daughter in law and 4 oldest grandchildren unable to attend last minute so did not use lower level this year. Our daughter son In Law two youngest grandsons son and his fiancé join my husband and I and the 8 of us had a blast! A very special Family time. I think water filter in fridge needs to be replaced and freeze was tricky not keeping things frozen all the way and barely had anything in there. Only side note we left a zip travel bag in top floor master closet filled with m husbands compression socks. Tried to get message to folks to look for them we would love to retrieve them at over $20 a pair. Other than that 10 gold stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Best stay ever!

Great house for 4 generations
Posted Mar. 5, 2024 on HomeAwayThis house is exactly as described and pictured in photos and the video tour. The beds were extremely comfortable! The pool is medium-sized (not small as one review stated) and was fine for our group, and the hot tub is large and functioned well. The furnishings are a bit dated but comfortable. There is lots of table space for group meals. Access to the beach is easy and private and the supplied chairs and bikes worked well. We would rent this house again.

The home's decor is intentionally dated; the interior designer went with a "French Provincial" style in the living room, which was the area that we discussed in one of your private messages.

Beautiful Place to Stay on the Beach
Posted Dec. 22, 2023 on HomeAwayI can't say enough about how wonderful Beach Houses in Paradise is. The house was so well stocked that it continued to amaze us throughout the stay. The listing was 100% correct. Just bring your swim suit. Everything else you need is already there. The house is wonderful! So large and open. Plenty of beautiful suites and bedrooms! The pool was well heated. 14 of us highly recommend this house for groups and families!!!

Thanksgiving 2023

And stocked beyond what we have previously experienced with a rental property. We are looking forward to a return in 2024!

Annual Family Trip
Posted Nov. 17, 2023 on HomeAwayWe had the most wonderful family time together in this well appointed home! This house was more thoroughly stocked with pots and pans, kitchen appliances, (although serving bowls and platters were lacking), dishwasher and laundry soap, toiletries, boogie boards, beach towels, bathrobes and slippers than ANY other house we’ve rented. When we asked Al for additional glassware it was delivered within hours!
New renters might see that the pool and pool area photos were quite deceiving…..very tiny pool and surrounding seating area off the driveway were disappointing in person.
But sun, beach and house amenities were quite wonderful

I recall your remarks that you booked the home on advice of a friend who had stayed there. Based on your reported reaction to the swimming pool (smaller than you expected, and located by the driveway), I suspect that you did not study the home's VRBO listing, photography, virtual tour video, or the Matterport 3-D tour that I sent you, prior to booking or in the hours and days shortly after booking.
There is a term for this in the vacation-rental industry: "BWOL", or "Booking without looking". It's when you book a home based on rumors you've heard about it, recommendations by friends or family, etc. While we are grateful that there is such positive word-of-mouth about Beach Houses in Paradise, we do *not* encourage "Booking without Looking" In fact, the day anyone books a Beach House in Paradise, we send them even more photos, videos, 3D tours, and floor plans that are available in the VRBO listing. (VRBO has a limit of only 50 pictures per listing, so the day you book, we send you an avalanche of additional visual materials).
The photography in the Chateau's VRBO listing is professionally produced and features no special effects or distortions. In the industry, this is called WYSIWYG, or "What you see is what you get". As shown in the photography, video and other visual materials, the pool is located on the west side of the home, off the driveway, and is of an irregular shape.
Note: If you are a relatively large group - we sometimes see as many as 25 people staying at the home, including children -- the pool may feel small. But if you are an average-sized group, there's all kinds of elbow room in this large swimming pool area & decking .

Five stars isn’t enough
Posted Nov. 14, 2023 on HomeAwayEvery second of our stay at Chateau de la Mer was absolutely amazing. This is by far the best stocked and cleanest rental property I’ve ever stayed at. We had a few hick ups with a TV that wouldn’t turn on and the heater went out on the pool…. The response time in fixing and replacement was beyond impressive with someone there within 30 min, they had the pool heater back on in under an hour from the time I called. These are wear and tear items that sometimes fail but how quickly and professionally they fixed our problems speaks volumes to the rental company and their commitment to make your stay amazing. I can’t recommend this property enough!!
