Disappointing Stay with Numerous Oversights

I recently stayed at a property that was fraught with issues from the start, leading to a frustrating and uncomfortable experience. Despite looking forward to a relaxing stay, the reality was anything but. Here’s a rundown of the issues encountered: 1. **Shower Drain Blockage:** From day one, the shower drain was completely blocked, making it impossible to take a proper shower without water quickly pooling around our feet. This basic aspect of accommodation maintenance was overlooked. 2. **Unresponsive Management:** Reaching out to the property management proved to be a challenge. Multiple attempts to call and message them went unanswered. This lack of communication was disheartening and made it difficult to resolve any issues we faced. 3. **Electrical Issues:** Several electrical sockets in the property were non-functional. This inconvenience limited our ability to charge devices and use appliances, significantly impacting our stay's comfort. 4. **Access Issues in Inclement Weather:** At one point, we were locked outside in cold and rain due to an incorrect door code provided by the property manager. This oversight not only caused discomfort but also raised concerns about the property's management and safety protocols. 5. **Lack of Welcome Note and WiFi Information:** We were told to expect a welcome note containing essential information, including the WiFi details, but none was provided. Third World Experience

Aweful. If I only knew it, never again. Im suprised Vrbo is keeping them with all the negative reviews. I read the warning signs based on the review. I even emailed the manager to tell her Im giving them a chance and that everything is fixed and taken care of. Well its worse… The past negative reviewers were actually nice about it. I’ll go straight to the point, its like living in a third world country which I know a lot growing up in the Philippines. I just didn’t think there’s a place like that in the US and its in New York! 1. The only bathtub clogs after 5 minutes of water running so dirty feet always 2. There’s 3 dining Ikea chairs, one is broken. I fell 3. The Roku TV doesn’t work. Internet subscription is basic and Roku doesn’t like it. 4. The furnitures are all worn out, when you sit in the futon couch, you sink so you dont get up unless pulled up by someone 5. No dishwashing soap 6. No hair dryer 7. Only a motorcycle can fit in the garage 8. The communication of the managers were bad at first 9. The caretaker was a smart ass. I was told to talk to him about Using a different stall after getting a $61 parking ticket, but every bight we come home, someone else is parked. When you call him he replies with sarcasm. Told me he’ll drive back in 2 hours to move HIS vehicle. Waited until 3 AM, didn’t show up. Theresa few more but I done wanna re- live the experience anymore. We would’ve stayed in a tent and probably be more comfortable. Wife was pist at me.

Bad experienced

We had several problems from the beginning, gas wasn’t connected and we can’t used the stove o had a hot showers for 3 days. The toilet doesn’t flushed with the handle. Was a really bad smell on the stair. The host worked hard to correct all the problems and was concerned and did the best to made us felt comfortable. The apartment needs some upgrades to made the stay pleasant.

False Advertisement

The listing on VRBO was completely different from the apartment. The pictures show one bed in each room and each room had a TV in it. We had 2 beds in the 2nd and 3rd bedroom. The Wi-Fi only worked the first day. It did not work at all for the remaining 8 days. The sheets were dirty. The rooms had a smell of dead rats inside. The table had old M&M’s inside the area where you plug in the power. We spent all day at meetings and towards the end of our trip we were accused of smoking in front of the building when we were not at the place all day. We even saw marijuana butts on the window sill next to the front door and took pictures for evidence.

It was a nice area only for one night if only someone had gone to the apartment before we showed up and turned the AC’s on it was a sweatbox , not to mention all the live roaches On top of the tables on top of the beds in the closet never again.

Do not book/ it has roaches! Looks nothing like pictures!

My experience was not good at all. It has a roach infestation. The host sends additional rules that aren’t on the original posting 24 hrs before booking so u have no time to get your money back. Toilet is right next to a window that everyone can see into from outside. It is extremely hot/ only one air conditioner in one of the 3bedrooms. I will never stay here again and I’m definitely going to contact VRBO. I have videos of roaches, the window next to the toilet, etc. place look absolutely nothing like the pictures on the post.
