Publié le 4 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayI was so pleasantly greeted with a beautiful, clean home. No cookie cutter here! It's got so much character!!! We especially loved the fabric ceiling in the dining room!!!! There was nothing lacking in this place. It was located close enough to the shops & restaurants without being too close to the crowds. We literally parked our car & walked everywhere with no problem at all. Met the owners by chance and they were lovely people. Very responsive to any questions and seemed to be genuinely very nice people. Cannot recommend highly enough! Would 100% stay again.

Beautiful Fall Weekend

The electric fireplace was especially welcome with the chilly weather and there is plenty of seating in the living room to enjoy a good visit. The host has left lots of helpful information for guests and check in process is very easy.

Family Reunion
Publié le 27 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe wanted to stay at a place near Mauch Chunk Lake Park where we hold our yearly family reunion. The park is a short drive from the house. The house suited our purposes. Having 2 full bathrooms is a real plus.

Location for walking down town- quiet section of town. Parking on premises was a huge plus as parking is very difficult and expensive in the area.
The property is roomy, clean, and well maintained.
