I saw this place on Expedia and was immediately hooked.It was only for an overnight stay and we didn’t get there until after one in the morning. The decor really appealed to this and made weary travelers forget the long ride we had just completed. We had a great breakfast in the morning at the Inn down near the train station then took a ride on the train before leaving. Jim Thorpe is a lovely unique town. Would definitely stay there again

Weekend getaway

The caretaker/manager, Chad, was on site the whole time and was friendly, kind, and accommodating. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed our stay.

Cute solo stay
Publié le 11 févr. 2024 sur HomeAwayI loved the vibe of this place and the owl decor was so sweet! Cleanliness and communication were 10/10. The mood lighting in the kitchen was fun and there is a full kitchen to cook if you need! The king bed was great and the cozy little fireplace heater and couch in the room was great for reading. I did take a night to adjust to the sounds of the baseboard heat at night trying to sleep. The whole town is cute and full of places/shops/restaurants/hikes to explore- Not to mention the inspo for the Disneys haunted mansion, a HP themed cafe, and a train ride that would be gorgeous in the fall especially. Winter hours for businesses were a little hit or miss mon-wed but there was plenty to do Thursday! The hosts were kind enough to be flexible with me checking out an hour late due to me oversleeping and even let me leave my car in a space post check out so I could do the last few things on my tourist list. I had a great stay and would love to come back.
