Wonderful property! Don't hesitate to book!
Publié le 9 janv. 2025 sur HomeAwayI booked for a few days during Christmas with my mom and I brought my dog. The property was easy to get to, the parking was very convenient. We were in apartment F which was decorated for the holidays and was so warm and welcoming - they even had a Christmas tree in the living room! We had everything we needed and more. In particular, the private drive/parking area was really nice to have some space to let my dog roam around. The owner was very communicative - I don't think I waited more than a few minutes between asking questions and him responding! Overall, I'm really happy with the rental and I would 100% book again. Don't hesitate here! I didn't see the other apartments available, but based on ours (again, we stayed in apartment F), I would recommend any of them!

Wonderful place!

The place had nice “vintage charm” with modern amenities. We appreciated the privacy and the many recommended activities and restaurants that were provided to us. We look forward to being able to visit again soon!

Fall anniversary getaway

Perfect solo outing
Publié le 8 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis was my first solo venture following my husband's unexpected death and I chose Jim Thorpe because we've visited together in the past and I knew I would feel comfortable both in the town and in the property.
I've stayed in many rental properties, but this one remains one of my favorites. The owners are lovely and wonderful to work (and talk!) with. The property is immaculate and undergoes continual maintenance and upgrades.
The location is perfect -- easy to park the car and walk to everything. If you've ever been to Jim Thorpe, you know that parking is at a premium -- so the dedicated off-street parking space that comes with the property is a major bonus.
There is absolutely nothing that I don't like (except that it is getting so popular that it's hard to find an open weekend!).

I loved the details of the apartment including the porch swing, shared patio space, coffee supplies, and comfy bed. The tub was the perfect ending to a full day of hiking.
