Very quaint. Clean and everything was in working order. Good restaurant.
The lighting was dark and it appeared unsafe around the outside.

A comfortable stay

Although the photos look great, there were numerous things that caused us to check out early.
There was only 1 stained towel, no hand towel, just a single bath towel for 2 people.
The bed was uncomfortable.
TV did not work.
WiFi did not work.

Avoid at all costs. Rooms are nothing like the photos, they smell very bad and overall just terrible. It's what you'd expect in a hostel.

Good quality and location.
Publié le 30 janv. 2022 sur HotelsCant really complain much. It has everything you need. Hot water and nets on windows. Windows are soundproof. Everyday cleaning. Restaurant is ok but a bit slow. Reception is friendly and pro. Prices are ok. The only thing that was annoying is the disco bar behind the hotel so be ready to fall asleep at 3am on weekends. Fridge in the room and kettle.

Hotel looks good from outside, clean, friendly staff. But needs some work inside. There’s no WiFi, the 2 staff we asked tried to manually enter a WiFi address but nay. Mosquito net torn in multiple places and would never seal the bed.
Also gives the very basic service-no face towels, no wash clothes, and just one towel for each of us two. No shampoo,no conditioner, no body lotions, just 2 pieces of bar soaps.
The key card also puts on and off the lights by inserting in its slot next to the door. To turn out the lights, you remove the card out but be prepared to walk in darkness to your bed and from your bed to the card slot to turn on the lights if you need to. We verified the lights with staff who confirmed no switch except for bathroom light. We loved the breakfast.

everything was perfect

Igar the Place to Stay

I arrived in Jinja 20 days ahead of booking date due to work schedule change, the Hotels.com app was not working, nor would the website let me change/cancel. Igar let me check in early and allowed me to call Hotels to cancel and rebook my room later that afternoon.
5 STAR service and patience. Small supermarket at bottom of hotel. Comfortable bed and pillows with working a/c.
Choose Igar over all others. Three blocks down is The Deli, a coffee shop/ restaurant with Western style food. Europeans, Americans and Expats all eat there.
