I wasted 1hour 20 minutes at the airport upon arrival from Nairobi because guesthouse didn’t send driver to pick me up. We had full agreement to meet me with name picket.
With the help of airport information desk, guesthouse was called and sent driver. It took another hour. Check in employee asked 150 R for the pick up which is 50 R higher than showed in their policy. Very poor business. No soul !

1. STEPHANO- THE MANAGER, IS PROFESSIONAL, HAS CUSTOMER ETIQUETTE, HELPED A LOT WITH TRANSPORTATION TO CONFERENCE VENUE.
2. ROOM - UNCOMFORTABLE,COLD, AT SOME POINT I DISCOVERED A TINY BUT DANGEROUS LIZARD LIKE THING ON THE PILLOW, SPENT SLEEPLESS NIGHT.
3. SECOND & FORTUNATELY, LAST DAY, A NIGHTMARE, NO WATER , HAD TO CALL THEM, ONLY THEN , THEY TELL ME THEY WERE TOLD, BUT THEY DID NOT MAKE ME AWARE.
I TOOK A BATH FROM THE BASIN, SOMETHING I'VE NEVER EXPERIENCED BEFORE, WORSE IN A GUEST HOUSE.
THAT FOR ME, IS A ONE STAR FOR THE PLACE.

The host was okay. I mean Audrey BUT the hotel owner is a stupid man who is full of himself. I got in one night at about 9 20 pm and knocked the gate because it was drizzling. Audrey hurriedly opened the gate for me only to be followed by the man who I guess possessed firearm going by his gesture as he pointed his fingers at me saying' Never ever kick my gate again , I own this premise. Else I deal with u' as if I didn't pay a rent to him. I quickly pleased with him severally and made way for my room. The only God thing is Audrey and the meal. But this hostility by the owner is the worst I have ever seen Haven travelled to over 11 countries. Again they don't allow visitor into the room . I mean visitor male or female. Not one who is intending to sleep over. Just a visitor. Yet it is not on their web page or on hotel. com page.
All in all I CAN NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN!!!
That property owner should be warned or his property blacklisted from hotels.com

The service was very good. I arrived late and they were waiting for me. The only complaint i have is that they should state upfront that they do not have ensuite rooms.
