Weekend stay at the Chalets on 8th
Publié le 24 mars 2024 sur HotelsIt felt like home away from home. The manager does not answer his phone. The assistants on the premises were very pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed our stay.

The accommodation was good and clean. Entry to the premises was easy. Overall it was a nice place to stay

Place was very nice loved it, the crockery in kitchen can do with a upgarde,stuff very old.

Very dissapointed

Shaazia according to our records stayed in chalet 1 from April 30 to May 6, 2019 some 6 room nights.It has taken 18 weeks after leaving for her to voice her dissatisfaction.
In reply to her comments we wish to state the following:
In the bathroom there is a bath and a walk in shower.We supply hand and bath towels , liquid hand soap, hot and cold water , toilet paper and sanitary towel disposal . We do not supply shower caps , shampoo and conditioner etc. We consider that the bathroom is equipped within the parameters which are described to the guest.
We do not service the chalet during a guest's stay ie make beds , wash dishes , vacuum rooms etc. This is a self catering establishment, not a hotel. When guests stay for an extended period of time, we do empty dustbins from the kitchen but that is the extent of our interference.We have had many guests staying at our chalets over the years and this is the first time a guest has expected the rooms to be serviced.We do regret her unhappiness .The showerhead needed adjusting and we apologise for that.
