Contre : Ménage !!!
Emplacement : Quartier agréable, points d'intérêts culturels, proche des grands axes et centres commerciaux.
Meublé dans une résidence assez bruyante. Le point positif : quartier agréable et sécurisé. Ménage à revoir. Moquette sale, sol crasseux. Aliment moisi dans le lave vaisselle. Lit cassé. Serviettes de bain de mauvaise qualité ressemblant à des serpillères !

Avoid. Urban Hip is no longer the owner

Disaster. We arrived to be told that Urban Hip ceased to trade two years ago. Splice Riviera is now mostly residential appartments. We were stranded and had to make alternative arrangements. Expedia were quick to give a refund but this accommodation needs to be taken off the website In order for this review to be accepted I’ve had to rate the hotel but, in reality, it was the experience of being told our booking wasn’t valid that was terrible. We are not able to answer the questions

The pillows in one of the rooms were dirty. There was also no soap.

Urban Splice Riviera is definitely an apartment building - so think Air B&B. I think it's all about expectations. We liked the neighborhood and the space set up, but we didn't get much concierge service. Being from out of town, we didn't want to have to call Bernard long distance to ask for the basics, which we likely would have called the hotel front desk for. So, if you know Joburg and you know what you've come for - you're fine. But, if you want more "support" during your stay, this isn't the place for you.

Not what was booked

Booked x3 2bedroom apartments. They we're overbooked and ended up only getting x1 2 bedroom and x1 3bedroom. 1 room less than what was needed. Not happy

o imóvel é metade hotel e metade residentes fixos por isso haviam dois porteiros, sendo que o do hotel nunca estava presente o que dificultou muito algumas solicitações durante nossa permanência. Estávamos em quatro pessoas e por dois dias recebemos apenas 2 toalhas de banho sendo que não havia ninguém disponível para nos ajudar a resolver esta questão. Em outro dia, para complicar mais, recebemos as toalhas molhadas e o gerente, depois de muito insistirmos para conseguir falar com ele (por telefone pois não estava no hotel), alegou falta de luz na lavanderia. Francamente, voltamos um tanto quanto decepcionados...
