Beautiful house pool and hot

Labor Day weekend (Last little pool time in the sun)
Publié le 3 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayOverall, the property was nice with great location easy to get where we wanted to go. Unfortunately, we rented the place specifically for the pool and we were not able to use it the whole weekend due to it being full of mud/dirt from rain the day before we arrived. They tried to get it clean, but it did not work so all we could do was look at it.

Thank you again for staying with us. We unfortunately has a massive storm the night prior that flooded dirt from the neighbors yard into our pool. It took us days to get the pool back to normal. We have made the necessary adjustments to make sure that this will not happen in the future.

Family Fun

Nice location with pool
Publié le 15 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe enjoyed our visit to Johnson City. The pool was clean and refreshing. We swam in it every day during our visit. I went walking in the mornings which was nice. It was a safe neighborhood within walking distance to a great coffee shop.
There were a few cleaning things that were missed by the cleaning people -fridge & grill & the trash wasn’t properly closed outside which led to a fly situation. The backdoor safety alarm wasn’t working-we didn’t have any children but it could’ve been an issue if there were kids.
The kitchen had all the items we needed to prepare meals. The living room furniture was comfortable. There was plenty of room for all 3 couples. I slept in the master bedroom and it was really comfortable. Slept well every night.
A few minor things as I mentioned but overall it was a good place to stay.

Unexpected Issues
Publié le 13 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe house was nice overall. We had mainly three issues with our stay. The first issue we noticed immediately upon arrival was that the two trash bins outside the house were completely filled leaving no room for our trash. This attracted lots of flies on a hot summer afternoon. (We were told that this was because there had been no trash pickup that week due to 4th of July three days before our arrival.) The second issue was that the pool had not been cleaned following a storm the week before. We specifically chose this house because it has a pool. Where we understand both circumstances, we would have expected that someone associated with the property would have checked on these things prior to our checking into the property. The pool was finally cleaned on our last day there and some of the trash was also collected at the same time. The third and most frustrating issue was having roofers show up at 6:45AM and start working at 8:00AM asking us to move our vehicles out of the way and surrounding the house with large tarps. This forced us to have to rush and get out earlier than we had expected to leave.
I’m sure that when these things aren’t issues, a stay at this house can be enjoyable. The house itself is a nice size and confortable. The inside of the house was clean and once the pool was cleaned on the last day, it was very pleasant. As for the roofers, that really was unacceptable but hopefully when someone else checks in, this will not be a problem .

Great getaway

The only two downsides were that the pool lights were non functional and also there is a backdoor alarm used for toddler pool safety. There should be a way to disengage the alarm if there are no toddlers staying.

Thank you again for staying with us. The city does require the alarm for the back door leading out to the pool. The lights do work. We have instructions at the home for how to turn them on. I am always able to turn them on remotely as needed as well

Great house for Family visit
Publié le 18 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a great week at this house, it had everything needed for a wonderful relaxing stay. The owner was very responsive to any inquiries. Nice quiet neighborhood, overly large rooms and space to enjoy. We would love to stay again next time we are in town.
