Owners were nearby and easy to get a hold of. They were courteous and concerned we had everything we needed.

RETHINK!! please unsafe/unclean conditions
Publié le 26 oct. 2022 sur HomeAwaywe were very disappointed and unhappy with our stay few items listed are.. not cleaned kitchen unclean refrigerator sink making a horrible noise. unusable microwave, filthy stove burners and oven, uncovered outlets and exposed lite switch and electric boxes, unsafe steps. spider webs and spiders everywhere in broken lite covers, tremendous amount of flys probably due to full trash cans by back porch door. open holes in Ceiling broken and filthy barbaque broken windows unkept Yard with broken down appliances .. the safety and cleanliness and unuseable appliances are very concerning.these are a few things. were not young and our health is not good we saved a long time for this vacation and it was anything but relaxing . Host heatily told me we got a great deal but I ask you at what expence? We have been enjoying this rental company a long time and this is Frist terrible encounter. There is an OPEN complaint investigation. RETHINK...

Wow! Where do we begin. First of all, the listing of "grievances" is full of exaggeration and hyperbole. The guests before and after gave the property a 5. We met this couple the first night of their stay and told them if there were any issues to let us know. We pointed out the house we were staying in next door. They had our phone number. They had our email address. They had VRBO messaging. They saw us out in the yard the entire week of their stay and they
DIDN'T SAY ONE WORD. On the last day, she said she was unhappy and requested a refund. It literally felt like a shakedown. She said she uses VRBO often and I wonder if she has tried this trick on other VRBO owners. We had one other guest who tried this a few years back and after some research, we discovered this was their modus operandi. We suspect this couple does the same. We would not rent to this couple again and we would warn anyone considering renting to them to be wary. Btw, she has not one, but TWO emotional support poodles. We allowed her to bring them even though we don't usually allow animals and discovered they are full sized poodles. If they had left early, we probably would have refunded a portion of their payments, but she waited till the end of her stay to say something. If she had issues with the property and it was so horrible, why did she subject herself to the horror and stay all 7 nights? The whole thing reeks of dishonesty. We told her to contact VRBO if she wanted to file a complaint. Again, beware if this couple is attempting to rent from you.
