Publié le 30 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayVery comfortable beds very nice interior. The only problem I had is I am 6 foot and the shower is set up for someone who is 5 foot I don’t like bending over when I take a shower.

This guest stayed at the property during a severe flood which is an anomaly. He could hear the sump pump relentlessly trying to pump the water out of the crawlspace. This isn't normal but was an anomaly situation during this guest stay. I'm so glad we were not one of the properties that got flooded during this incident!

Nice manager - Helpful
Publié le 2 août 2024 sur HomeAwayManager was helpful in booking whale watching tour. This is house split into 2 sides. Pluses are washer/dryer & wifi. VERY close to airport and Mendenhall glacier but not downtown. We gave it a 4 because there is not sound proofing between the 2 units ---- we were VERY aware of the family next to us and they were not trying to be noisy, just kids.

Nice for IM Alaska
Publié le 3 sept. 2022 sur HomeAwayNice space and suitable cooking supplies to support our stay for Ironman Alaska. ~1 mi walk to the high school where Ironman Village was held and staging for the race day shuttles. Also an easy walk to the Juneau bus stop, however we found it more convenient to rent a car. Also very convenient to Mendahall Glacier. Host even set us up with ample shampoo, conditioner, and soap. Only item on my wish list: robust wifi. We had poor cell service so were relying on wifi to make local plans, and this was frustrating at best. Also the TV works off your home log-ins, and again, unstable wifi made passing time while it rained outside a bit frustrating.
