Publié le 29 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayTruly the best location for experiencing Juneau. Auke Bay is the best kept secret. The cute Cafe with the best breakfast. The brewery was wonderful to meet people. Quiet space, comfortable, everything you need to feel like home. Thank you so much for the opportunity to stay in such a beautiful area.

It did not bother us at all as we were gone for the day. We were gifted a dinner for any inconvenience. We could not be happier and had a wonderful time.

Our family of 4 stayed here for vacation and it was conveniently located. We were able to eat dinner close by at Forbidden Peaks Brewery. Yummy burgers and Asian fusion entrees. The property is also close to a hiking trail called Spaulding Meadows, and you can drive to a few local rocky beaches and more trails. It’s also less than ten minutes to drive to grocery stores (IGA, Safeway), more places to eat (Zereldas, Pucker Wilson).
The property has a comfortable queen size bed and there’s a door to get privacy. My two boys liked sleeping on the roll away bed and the couch converted into a decent sized bed. The kitchen was spacious and my husband was able to set up his laptop on the desk they had. The owners of the property live above it and they were quiet—you couldn’t tell someone was up there. The only issue was the toilet but the property manager fixed it right away. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a quiet getaway from home. Oh, my kids loved the baskets of snacks!! Plus there was a variety of drinks that we enjoyed too.

Bed was comfy! Washer and dryer was a plus! Booklet in living area was very helpful with what was around Juneau. Highly recommended!

Please get an inexpensive REAL coffee pot and toaster. We live a pot of coffee in morning!
