VIEWS WERE AMAZING, BUT....
I normally don't leave a review, but this time I had to. It started three weeks prior to checking in. I left e-mails, and voicemails for the property manager to let her know that our flight would not be arriving till late on the day of check-in and was wondering if there was anything we needed to do. We heard nothing from her and was getting worried, so one week before, we called evolve and they said they would take care of it. We still heard nothing, so on the way to airport, we called property manager and got answering machine AGAIN, so we called evolve AGAIN and they immediately 3-wayed the phone call. Surprisingly, the property manager answered right away. She told us the check-in procedure for late check-in and joked that she received a ding ding ding at 1 AM in the morning from an email and that did I realize the time change there. I never sent her an email that early in the morning and if I did, why wouldn't she have the courtesy to answer me back even at a later time. I NEVER heard from her at all, except when evolve 3-wayed us. The property was beautiful, except for the decor, which every ones taste is different. We did have an issue with the heater at the house, which thankfully there were floor heaters in every room, which we used. Yes, the views at this property were amazing, so that made up for any issues we had with the property manager.

Spring Break
We spent most our time at Eagle Crest skiing and boarding. We ate all of our breakfasts at the rental and most our dinners. Evenings were spent playing board games. We loved the house, though, there are some things that do need fixing or completing. The owner was very gracious and welcomed our input.

Huge house that comfortably handled 4 adult couples and a toddler with room to spare. Being a wintertime rental we weren't able to use the deck area, but it looked like it would have been a great place to hang out if it wasn't under 2 foot of snow. There was, however, plenty of room inside with several sitting areas and great views. Rena did a great job taking care of our needs. Would definitely consider renting again if the family ever has reason to visit Juneau again.

Great location with amazing views!
The property's location was really ideal for a visit to Juneau. It's a short drive to downtown Juneau (approximately 10 minutes) and has really amazing views of the Gastineau channel/surrounding mountains. We are a family of 5 with kids ranging from 7 to 15 years old and the home had plenty of space for us to spread out. And being a family that hikes we had a bunch of gear due to Juneau's propensity for rainy conditions so the extra space came in handy. The property owners were very kind and accommodating. We had a great visit.

Beautiful location
This property has a wonderful view and outdoor space. We were able to view eagles flying around and feeding, fish jumping, and even a seal playing in the water. Access to the water was a plus. The kitchen and living area were very spacious and great for bigger groups. The master bedroom was awesome! The property owners were very kind and welcoming.

This is a beautiful house that has been just updated. There were 3 couples and we all had our own bathroom and lots of areas to spread out. We really enjoyed the fire pits. One on the patio and one down by the water. The house had everything we needed.

Nothing luxury about this property accept for the view. The owners made us wait for 1/2 hour fir them to come and open the door. Then they had issues with not having yw right key. That was odd. Finally got in. Place was big. Bedrooms are all downstairs There’s a horrible smell from the master. It was so bad we had to move to another room in the middle if the night. Smells like something died. It rained the entire time so we didn’t get to use the porch or the BBQ grills. Other than that it was ok.

We arrived for a 2 week rental of this property to find a 2 majorstory addition being added that we were NOT told about. The construction workers were there for 5 days following our arrival. Even the property management company was unaware of this addition and construction. The driveway was blocked many times by a gutter truck and construction vehicles. The wall between our bedroom and the new addition was plywood and painter's plastic that the owner tried to cover with shower curtains. Because there were no windows in the addition, we had BUGS in our room all the time- especially at night. Several light switches arced. 1/2 of the televisions did not work because of construction. Much of the electrical is questionable since due to construction rerouting. The walkway down to the water is treacherous. The 'steps' are broken and falling apart. They are DANGEROUS. The listing shows a nice outdoor furniture set. No. 1/2 of the chairs were broken and behind the shed and replaced by folding lawn chairs. The listing said there was 1 space in the garage. NOT true. The garage had a vehicle and was full of construction items. We are owners of 5 vacation rental properties and are very successful. This is not good hospitality and business practice from our experience. The addition will be nice when completed and the owners are kind as well. They just did not inform us of construction giving us an option to back out and they are not advertising the listing as the house really is. The layer of dust and dirt on top of the cabinets was truly gross. No one has looked up there for at least a year. Finally, as not to ruin our vacation, we waited until we arrived home to address some of the issues. I paid a premium price per night for this property and felt I should have been reimbursed a small token in return for the inconvenience and noise I was not notified about. I actually thought the owner was joking when they offered a 20% discount on a future stay.

Clean, comfy beds, great location, but not quite as described.
First off, there are not 3 full baths as listed. 2 full baths are downstairs with the 4 bedrooms. A half bath is upstairs. There is a DW, but it is very small and needs to be rolled over to the sink and hooked up, once the table is moved. It should also be noted that the home is under construction, and is being expanded. As a result, one of the bedrooms has a wall removed. This wall is replaced with a plywood panel and plastic. The plastic rattles if it's windy. And....the under-construction addition is open in the back to the elements, with a ladder going up to it. Although no one was likely to come in this way, it was a bit disconcerting upon discovery. We were not made aware of this construction until the day before arrival and were offered no discount on what is a very expensive booking. All that said, the beds were very comfy, the place clean, and the view was wonderful.

The place was great. Lots of room. Very comfortable.
Lack of communication with the owners was a problem, but when we were able to talk to them they were very nice. We did have to wait abit to check in being they were busy. Garbage can was full so we had to call to get emptied. Several lights in the kitchen we out and never got replaced. The place advertised a patio table with 6 nice chairs. We only had two. It was a problem when we had guests. That being said. The place was great for our group, great location, well set up, clean with plenty of towels and stuff. Beds were very comfortable. Nice view to enjoy. Well equipped kitchen. We had lots of family members besides those staying with us and there was lots of room for all. We would not hesitate to rent the home again.

Great house and location for our family
We stayed here with our family of 6. We have four teenage boys loved it. It was nice to be on the water and it is pretty private. Love the location and you can go anywhere in Juneau. The house is very big and the host was awesome!
