Rooms are clean and functional. My room had a view of Sakurajima. Rooms facing the train tracks will have noise, so bring ear plugs. Location is easy 1-minute walk from train station. You also have easy access to AMU Plaza shopping mall, which has so many dining options and a ferris wheel. Also, easy underground access to AEON grocery store.

Toyoko-Inn is consistently convenient and cost-effective. This property was no different. Recommended for visiting Kagoshima.

Room is spacious. Breakfast is ok. All staff are attractive and polite. Location is
convenient as it is only 5 minutes walk from Kagoshima-chuo station.
