A stay away from the crowds
Posted Apr. 19, 2024 on HomeAwayThis property offered a quiet escape from the busy and urban areas of Oahu. The beach was very close by and the Banyan tree near the property was beautiful and full of birds. The property had a private patio with beach equipment like chairs, umbrella, towels, etc. The space was small but well-equipped. It was a cozy and intimate place to stay that created lasting memories. The host was helpful and I would recommend this property.

Beautiful beach banyan bungalow

Great stay in a residential neighborhood
Posted Mar. 13, 2024 on HomeAwayMy husband and I really enjoyed our stay in the bungalow. We rented bikes and were able to easily ride into downtown Kailua and take advantage of all the activities/restaurants there. The beach is a stones throw away and the outdoor shower under the banyon tree was truly a special experience.

Kailua getaway
Posted Oct. 29, 2023 on HomeAwayThe beach bungalow was perfect! Very comfortable and well appointed. We thoroughly enjoyed relaxing on the beautiful beach, swimming in the warm ocean and catching the sunrise each morning which were stunning!

A Slice of Heaven
Posted Sep. 24, 2023 on HomeAwayWe had a fabulous time. The property was beautiful, clean and just steps from the beach. Vicki, the property host, was so nice and helpful. Sunrises are amazing and this location is perfect to take in all the sights that Oahu has to offer.

Loved the original Kailua beach bungalow
Posted Aug. 28, 2023 on HomeAwayDropped off our incoming college freshman at UH and then went to Kailua for a relaxing vacation. The location is key - steps from the beach and the bungalow was clean, quiet and comfortable. We would love to return!

Incredibly Thankful
Posted Aug. 4, 2023 on HomeAwayV & J, were more than host for us. They went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant and personal as possible. This was a difficult trip home for us because it was for funeral services of a family member. V, went out of her way to talk with me, and check in on us. Can't tell you how much that meant to us. Yes, Hawaii is one of the most beautiful places you will every visit, especially Kailua. But it's the kindness and Aloha spirit of the local people the will make you want to turn your vacation into a staycation. I grew up in Hawaii, V & J thankyou for making us feel like we had our Aunty and Uncle taking care of us. And V, you were right, my heart is home, we'll see you soon, thank you :)

Fantastic Slice of Paradise
Posted May 10, 2023 on HomeAwayVicki and her units are absolutely fantastic! I've stayed all over Kailua and Lanikai and these units have to be some of the nicest out there! Vicki is a wonderful and gracious host. Don't overthink it, just go ahead and book one of her units. You won't be sorry!

Beautiful space
Posted May 10, 2023 on HomeAwayMy son and I had a great time at this property… The host was super responsive, the place was really clean and in a great location with restaurants and shops within walking distance. I would definitely go back again!
