Location. Location. Location!!

The accommodations were clean and well kept. The bed was comfortable with soft sheets and perfectly fluffed pillows.
Shari made check in and out a breeze. She also gave us a lot of local restaurant recommendations which were worth absolutely worth the hype!
If you are looking for a private and peaceful beachfront getaway, I highly recommend this spot!

Not what we expected
Publié le 5 déc. 2024 sur HomeAwayLeft 2 minutes after realizing what we had expected was far from what it actually was. We realize views and privacy mean different things to different people but this has neither. Would not recommend it if the expectation is what is advertised.

You reserved our property over four months ago without contacting us once, with questions, or any special concerns you had.
Had you reviewed our detailed profile description and pictorial to be sure your special needs were met, then this could have been avoided.
Unfortunately, you waited until the day before you arrived, to decide our rental did not suit your expectations.
Researching any accommodation thoroughly is completely the renter’s responsibility. Moreover, I gladly would have assisted you with any inquiries, or misunderstandings you had, or offered other rental suggestions to better suit your needs, had you asked.
Every explanation in our property descriptions, amenities and pictorial, validly matches all we provide our visitors.
In as much, our 4.8% rating shows our strong tenant satisfaction in our 35 years of business.

Beach Vacation in Kailua
Publié le 21 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe enjoyed our stay at this house right on the beach in Kailua, Hawaii. Unit is right on the beach. Communication with the owner was great, she was super helpful. Unit was clean and everything worked well.

Perfect Beach Escape
Publié le 17 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayOur four night stay at Shari’s place in Kailua was the perfect beach escape to start our November week in O’ahu. The apartment was comfortable and provided everything we needed.
The location provided a short walk to Kailua Beach for daily dips in the ocean and long morning walks. Access to the center of town with a good selection of restaurants was under a 10 minute drive and close enough to Honolulu for those wanting to explore a little further away.
Shari’s communication before and during our stay was excellent. We hope to return again soon.

Beachfront Honeymoon

Great oceanfront stay

The beach is beautiful and the host was very communicative and even let us know if parking with other tenants changed for the day. We had zero issues. It’s quiet and the natural air was easy to sleep in

Kailua Beach stay

The room itself is spacious, there is no A/C which can make it uncomfortable if sleeping in 24 degrees is not your thing. Don’t try to get in early cause you are held to 3:30 sharp, but expect to be out early. We were asked to even take out our own trash before we left

In response to the check in time at 3:30pm, I always text tenants day of arrival letting them know if rental is prepped sooner, I will happily text them that time for an early checkin. I did text you at 1:43PM the rental was ready for "early checkin" with directions, to find yourselves in, and also messaged you on VRBO.
10am is our standard checkout.
To clarify the trash pickup, I remind tenants with ample time, I will be picking up trash out side their units at designated area in early evening, for trash pick up the next morning. I did check 3 times if you had any, until 9:30pm, an there was nothing set out. If you miss my pick up, you have the option to simply put in any bin off our driveway. Of course in Hawaii there are warm periods that come an go out of our control, which some prefer AC, we do have in our 2nd VR unit - another option : ) Mahalo

Lovely Stay
Publié le 24 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a lovely stay here. Rental unit was spacious and clean. Host was warm and inviting and provides nice quality chairs and beach towels. Stayed early September and lack of AC caused no issues due to good airflow. But most importantly, the location was perfect. It was like almost having your own private beach. Couldn't have asked for a better stay.
