Vintage Hawaiian Oceanfront Paradise

Pop back in time and relax in 60's mod style in this quaint vintage apartment hotel, capturing a front row center view of Magic Sands Beach since 1963.

Roll out of the soft and cozy queen size bed and step right across the street to take a dip in the turquoise blue ocean. This beach is ever changing, as Namaka (Hawaiian goddess of the sea), works her magic on the soft white sand, taking it away and then putting it back, earning its name for the magically disappearing sands. Popular for boogie boarding and snorkeling, you can see bright schools of yellow tangs and black batfish right from the shore. Visitors and locals all love to gather at this beach to watch the spectacular sunsets!

When it’s time to grab a bite, across the street is a walk up grill where you can get a cup of fresh roasted Kona coffee and breakfast in the morning, or lunch in the afternoon. They make incredible acai bowls with fresh local fruit! You can grab a beer or cocktail to go here and enjoy it on the beach. Also across the street is Magics Beach Grill, offering oceanside dining lit by tiki torches with spectacular reef fish viewing and glowing sunsets! Downtown Kona is just 4 miles away with a variety of restaurants to choose from. Don’t feel like driving? The Kona trolley stops right here and will take you downtown or to the nearest shopping center where you can pick up some food if you feel like making a laid back meal at home in your fully stocked kitchenette. Enjoy dining in at a handcrafted mango bar top table, with a stellar view of the ocean.

Please note:

-This unit is across from Magic Sands Beach and directly on Ali’i Drive, and you can hear the fun being had at all times of the day.

- Also located next to Pahoehoe Beach Park and the sacred La’aloa Bay. Kahalu’u Beach Park is about a mile away for great snorkeling!

-There is one dedicated parking spot assigned to this unit.

-This unit has no air conditioning, but it does have a lovely ocean breeze!

-There is no dishwasher in this unit. But you probably won’t be cooking extravagant meals, leave that to the restaurant chefs!

-There is a washer and dryer in the complex, must download PayRange app in advance. Laundry detergent is provided in the unit.

-Smoking is not allowed on the property, so if you need it, just walk across the street and enjoy the ocean view!

-There is no pool in this complex. Who cares? You came here for the OCEAN.

-Caution: this little slice of paradise will capture your heart and make it very hard to leave!

Coolest Beachside Spot!
We loved our stay at Atomic Tiki! I have no idea why this place doesn't have more reviews. I'll admit that had me worried when we were booking, but the interior design won out, and I'm so glad we decided to go with it. The hosts were very friendly, and every detail was accounted for. We especially enjoyed the little drink umbrellas they'd stocked. 10/10 would stay here again!

Relaxing Island Oasis
Atomic Tiki was one of the best condos I’ve rented. I was on a solo vacation and the space was super relaxing and felt very safe. The decor was wonderful, pillows super comfy and the amenities provided everything I needed to make my stay comfortable and convenient. Beach gear was a bonus and much appreciated. Hosts were super responsive. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would book again.
