The room was outstanding! View of the ocean, big room so none of us felt cramped. It was very comfortable, felt like home. The pool was clean, hottub was nice. Everywhere you went you could hear waves. The room doors are heavy, which made entering and leaving cumbersome, but i think it makes it so you never hear people walking by your room. The hottub jets timer was short but thats nitpicking. Parking is tight in the garage area but relatively easy. We were there for 8 nights, and only had to park outside the garage area once (still on property). It's pricey, but Would absolutely stay here again.

Renting a 40-year-old property can be hit or miss, depending on the owner's upkeep. Ours was outdated. True, it was waterfront as promised, but everything else was subpar. The cleanliness was the main issue; finding long black hairs everywhere made it uncomfortable. I'm not one to complain, but it's important for people to realize that Hawaii today is both old and expensive. It's been 25 years since my last visit, and nothing has changed except for a new coat of paint on the same old structures.

Loved the location, right on the beach. Maintenance of our unit was a bit lacking. The dishwasher did not work, the balcony furniture was weathered and rusty, no light on the balcony, sliding screen fell out of the tracks and the odor out of the master bath sink was foul. All minor things that are easily fixed.

Nice place and all the rooms are ocean facing. Shopping is a short drive. Staff is welcoming. We had a young kid so queen size bed felt small. Staff was helpful and they provided a folding bed but it wasn’t that great and we didn’t use it. Everything else was wonderful.
