20 more than a campground here in hawaii we provide king sized beds , quiet location , a lot of free extras like high speed internet , unlimited calling , fresh fruit , eggs , tv , unique view , new fans , newly painted rooms . So when I see a lower score it just does not seem to take into account the value and the price . As we do not charge the 160 - 800 a night for a similar room common in this area

I would not stay there property was trashed up. There was storage on the steps and on the back deck so I went and stayed at a different place. I would like to have a full refund.

Liked that it was in Hawaii. Did not get the room i booked. The "kitchen" was outside. The sink was a Laundry tub on the deck. Refrigerator/freezer couldn't keep ice cream frozen. Was not safe to put open food in. No place to eat if you dared to cook ameal.Two dead cars. Parking very limited and very steep. Needed to put rocks behind wheels for safety.

Free room upgrade received , heck some folks don’t lead happy lives , these people where not happy folks even before checkin. I am sorry but this review is meaningless, wolf cries wolf, this guest broke a table and a door, busted into a staff room at 230 am , drunk , so yes we where not happy , we are not the party place , staff had to monitor at late hours to make sure others where safe, though they kept mostly to the their room , crashing , and banging where heard until late hours , we space guest rooms so others where not disturbed , this guest also had many Specail requests fulfilled , left early , missing items on check out and we had to check on other guest safety while this guest was on site. We have had to ask guests like this to go on several occasions, they loose their reservation and their is no refund - a standard in the industry . Past guests we have had to ask to go, report back to us that they where sorry about their behavior .We have to watch out for other guests staying with us , and disrespectful behavior towards others is grounds for termination , just like the airlines . We have kids , grandparents, and folks wanting a no worries Place , that’s what we seek to uphold. if you drink heavy best to stay at a hotel near the bars . If you drink and can not maintain around others we recommend 12 step, and other programs to save your life, keep you out of prison or a dui and fatal crash . We can only hope and or pray for this guest that they work on getting clean , I am sad for this guest , I hope their lives improve for the better and they get help Ps this guest was smart and bought travel insurance, IF you have Specail requests for your travel insurance and THIRD PARTY Booking company best to direct it to them directly

Great place to stay, very homely, John is the best he kept me updated with near events and fruits around the complex. I recommend taking advantage of the aloha at a affordable rate with an ocean view. Think minimal & simple.

I like the area and it's quietness. The host was very nice and helpful. The room could've been a little cleaner and the outside area more organized. Other than that , it was good. I will come back.

In expedia the scale is 5 is good not 1 , easy to mix up
