Nicest staff ever !

What a nice and charming stay , special note for Paul who speaks a perfect French is the best ! He is always available, nice and fun ! Merci Paul !! The pool side is so cute and the breakfast delicious! We felt like at home and hope to come back soon !!!

Hôtel : très bon accueil Chambres décorées avec beaucoup de gout Petit déjeuner superbe Personnel remarquable et toujours prêt à rendre service. un défaut face à l'embarcadère du Bac reste bruyant jour et nuit malgré les efforts dans les matériaux mis en place

Poorly located hotel

This is a small bed and breakfast located on the main road in front of the ferry crossing, nowhere anything luxurious. Plus : small but modern rooms, good breakfast Minus : Poor location as it's very noisy due to heavy traffic. Room view is on the road/parking to embark the ferry. The hotel is also quite dangerous to reach as there is no sidewalk from the parking, beach is a few hundred meters from the hotel and next to the same road. Finally,there is nothing to do around the hotel and you will need to drive at least 15min to have dinner. We decided to leave after one night (though our 2nd night was non refundable). We moved to Tivat/Porto Montenegro just a few min drive after the ferry which is a lot more pleasant with plenty of dining options and a nice waterfront sidewalk.

Avoid Capitano and stay at other Casa del Mare’s

Our trip started off on a bad foot when we walked into the room and there were two house centipedes in the bathroom. The hotel immediately changed our room to another one on the ground floor, however we paid for a room 20m2 and received one closer to 13m2 - right in front of where the 24 hour ferries dock and take off. Not only was the room noisy (unless the air con was blasting), we woke up to another house centipede crawling on the ceiling (see photo). Since it was high season and casa del mare did not have any more rooms - they offered to place us either in an apartment an hour away by foot in Morinji or Kumbor from where we were located, but this would mean we would no longer have beach access or would have to drive to the hotel to have breakfast. They also offered another room at Casa Del Mare but we would have had to pay more for our stay (a bit ridiculous). We decided to stay since we did not have a car - but this was certainly a disappointing and surprising solution by management for encountering bugs not once but twice, in addition to the smaller room + ferry noise. Since we decided to stay, we were not offered any form of compensation or any sort of gesture for the inconvenience - again, surprising for a hotel that ranks itself 4*. Pros: the staff are incredibly friendly, breakfast and beach are great, nice little pool, there’s a few good restaurants within walking distance of Capitano (Verige 65, Adriatica), and convenient to go across the bay by ferry.

Regarding the bugs in your room, the day when you reported it, we sprayed to whole room and clean it, and also gave you the same spray just in case. We did everything we could about it. About the location, as you writted yourself, it is convenient to use the ferry boat. We can understand that you did not like the location very much, but we try to inform our guests on sites and trough messages about our location. Also we did have some alternative offers for you, but you declained all of them. We really tried to make your stay as perfect as you imagined, and we are sorry that we not succeded. Hopefully we will have a chance to host you in some of our others 6 Hotels from grupation, and make your stay better this time. Warm regards, Casa del Mare Capitano team.

Fantastic room, great and very friendly staff, clean and nice. The private beach 300 meters away was superb with a good restaurant. Recommended place

Wir wurden auf unseren Wunsch in das Partnerhotel "Casa Del Mare Blanche" umgebucht, da dies für einen Aufenthalt mit einem Kleinkind aufgrund der Lage geeigneter erschien. Nichts desto trotz haben wir eine Nacht im Capitano verbracht. Tolles Hotel, wunderschöne, individuell, mit Liebe zum Detail gestaltete Zimmer, nettes Personal und fantastisches Frühstück. Lediglich die Lage ist äußerst ungünstig, da direkt ggü. einer Fährstation und an einer sehr viel befahrenen Straße. Nun zum Partnerhotel "Casa del Mare Blanche". Das Hotel ist wirklich ein Traum. Es liegt an einer kleinen Uferstraße direkt am Meer. Einrichtung und Zimmer sind fantastisch, Frühstück ebenfalls. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das Personal - es liest einem jeden Wunsch von den Augen ab. Unsere Tochter hat ihren 3. Geburtstag gefeiert und es wurde alles arrangiert - Torte, Geschenke, Musik, Kerzen, Luftballons. Es wurde ein unvergesslicher Tag für uns!!! Einen so freundlichen und authentischen Service gibt es selten - danke dafür!

Schönes, neues Hotel

Wir hatten eigentlich im Casa de Mare "Il capitano" gebucht, bei der Anreise wurde uns dann aber ein Upgrade ins neue Casa del Mare "Blanche" ganz in der Nähe angeboten. Da das Capitano so viele Stufen hatte, haben wir uns dann für das Blanche entschieden. Die Kette "Casa del Mare" betreibt mehrere kleine Häuser in der Bucht von Kotor. Das Blanche liegt am Hafen von Bijela und etwas ruhiger, nicht genau an der Fährablegestation wir das Capitano. Wir hatten ein neues Zimmer mit Meerblick und es gibt einen kleinen Pool und auch einen kleinen Strand. Als Willkommensgeschenk habe wir gleich einen netten Obstkorb bekommen. Das Personal war sehr bemüht und hat auch mit dem Gepäck geholfen. Das Zimmer war schön und am Abend konnte man vom Balkon aus den Kreuzfahrtschiffen beim Auslaufen aus Bucht von Kotor zusehen.

A unique waterside location

Brilliant staff and really special rooms. Excellent breakfast provided at very flexible times. The only real negative is noise from the vehicle ferries opposite.
