Hello Savita, Thank you so much for that review. However how we wish we could know the reason to why we scored that bad. It would be more helpful to us. Thank you

A nightmare in Kampala

Publié le 22 août 2018 sur Hotels
This was a terrible hotel. They had hidden prices that was added later. They ballooned the exchange rates so I had to pay more for everything. They totally take advantage of tourists. I would advise people to stay away from this place.

Great room, clean, but not in a very nice area

Publié le 20 avr. 2016 sur Expedia
Pour : Cleanness. Comfort of the bed and A/C
Emplacement : Location is not so safe, especially after dark. It is only a few minutes from the Acacia Mall which is nice.
The hotel is quite nice inside. Very clean. The room was large and very clean. The mattress was quite comfortable and there was air conditioning! Although it is not the hotel's fault, the location is not quite so nice. The road it is off of and the road it overlooks from the room are very busy with shops and locals walking around. If you are a foreigner it can feel quite unsafe to be in a massive crowd of people shouting at you while walking or driving by. In fact, around 7:30pm, just after dark, my wife and I drove down this road to the hotel and it was crazy. Drunk people shouting at us and banging on our car. If we were walking I would not have been surprised if we were robbed or physically harrassed, especially my wife. So as long as you arrive and leave during daylight by car, it is not so bad. But I personally would spend a little more money and not have the stress of the questionable location. If you are a local, then it is probably perfectly fine. But if you are a local, then I highly doubt you are actually booking through Expedia!
