A v good hotel … worthwhile to explore the Kinta Tin Museum, a few minutes walk fr hotel! For a greater experience, try river rafting n explore the Gua Tempurong caves.

The staff was very kind and first night loaned us an electrical adaptor till we went to store to buy one. The pool on top is very nice with view of surrounding area. Enjoyed the local street vendors and coffee shops.

Not the quality i expected for that price
We paid for an executive suite, almost 400 Ringgit. The sitting area & the bedroom had very good air con. The closet had an iron plus a workable ironing board which i used successfully. But hot water took forever to come out of any of the 3 faucets in the bathroom, & then it was only tepid, not hot. The flow of water in the shower was so meager that i gave up & transferred to the bathtub. As for the breakfast included in the price, most food & drink were consumed by 8am when we walked in. Workers were not attentive nor diligent with prepared refills on anything. My wife & i got the last mug of coffee by tilting the dispenser at an angle & shared from the same cup. We scraped bubur ayam from the bottom of the pot. My advice? Set your alarm for 5:30 then show up at their din8ng hall at 6am sharp when they open. Maybe then you will have a better bfast experience than we did.

Although stated all non smoking room, but the room is with smoking smell, staff said will get housekeeping to spray but no one come. Anyhow, i felt the hotel is not strict to check and ensure guest is smoking - need to improve / impose penalty. Pillow is not comfortable, overall is still fine.
