Lovely Bungalow

While it would have been hard to find, off the beaten path, Kalia's directions were perfect and she even waited to hear that we arrived safely before turning off her phone.

Happily we only have mosquitoes after our rare rain for a few weeks. This works out to maybe 50 days out of the year and the rest of the time we are blessed with NO mosquitoes. They hatch 10 days after a rain and leave quickly as this IS a desert climate.

Amazing stay!

Waking each day up to a nature retreat was so lovely. The host, Kalia was so kind and made us feel so welcome. A perfect getaway, well appointed, and we can’t wait to return!

Beautiful hale & location
Publié le 10 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayThis home is very clean, beautifully decorated and very well equipped. It has everything you’ll need for your stay on the Kohala Coast. The lanai has splendid views up and down the coast & incredible sunsets views. Lots of whale watching, too. It’s close to many beaches, historical sites & good day trips such as up to Hawi & the Pololu Valley Lookout. Kalia is a gracious & helpful host. We highly recommend staying here—5 star all the way!

Paradise Found!

Kalia was so nice and helpful. Always responsive but never intrusive. We explored the Big Island during the day but back in time for beautiful sunsets. Could not have been happier with our stay. Mahalo, Kalia, for sharing this piece of paradise.

Wonderful place to stay
Publié le 7 janv. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis little house is tucked away in the most amazing location away from the hustle and bustle of daily living! Everything was wonderful! The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook a few meals, bed was comfortable, lovely outdoor shower, and plenty of privacy. Breakfast on the patio every morning was a real treat! The geckos visited every morning to see what we were eating, so much fun to watch them! Looking up at the stars at night was just amazing. Loved the quiet (note the birds sing from sunrise to sunset), so we knew it was time to rise and shine when the birds awoke. Kalia was a perfect host! Answered questions quickly and helped us if we needed something. Great place to get away and the views are amazing! We were able to see the whales one day when they are active in the water with the binoculars that were provided. Overall great experience, thanks so much for sharing your little piece of paradise!
