Chambre top mais la restauration ne suit pas
Publié le 12 août 2015 sur HotelsLe Signature est une partie de l'hotel Amaya Lake, ce sont des bungalows ou villa.
Nous avions une tres grande chambre, avec comme sur certaines photos un canapé petit coin salon tres agreable.
Dressing et grande salle de bain, comme trop souvent au Sri Lanka les climatisations sont bruyantes et toujours trop froide.
Le lit est d'un confort absolu une des meilleures literie que j'ai jamais connu, à noté que le lit d'appoint pour l'enfant est de la même qualité.
Baignoire avec jacuzzi, attention aux inondations :-)
L'environnement est super calme et vraiment tres agreable.
Deux piscines pour cet hotel.
Par contre coté restauration, le petit dej est vraiment quelconque, le room service est pas terrible et la rapidité efficacité de celui ci quasi nul.
Vous pouvez manger au restaurant Signature au bord de la piscine, pas de buffet dan ce cas mais menu a la carte, la c'etait une tres bonne surprise.

Beautiful hotel, only our accomodation was not so modern anymore.
Toilets for woman are having Windows who is open and it feels like from above everybody can look into the toilet

Bug & critter infested with poor service!
Publié le 29 août 2018 sur HotelsWe were very disappointed with this hotel. We were expecting a small, quiet luxury resort of 24 rooms as advertised. Instead, we found the resort grounds are shared by two resorts, the second resort (Amaya Lake) costs one third the price and has over 100 rooms with all the shared services. There is an ant infestation throughout the resort including in the room, on the balcony (rendering it unusable) and all over the chairs and tables in the pool area. We also had to constantly shoo away flies and aggressive chipmunks while we were dining. The staff were uncommunicative and unhelpful with issues around check-in and our request that the 4 extra beds lined up outside our room for the entirety of our stay be removed. The only saving grace to this resort were the friendly restaurant staff (best of all the bar manager!). This place is no where close to luxurious, don’t be fooled by the photos!
